As a long-time observer of politics and a firm believer in justice, I find myself deeply troubled by the latest allegations against Donald Trump by Stacey Williams. The fact that this incident allegedly occurred more than two decades ago does not diminish its gravity or validity in any way. In fact, it underscores the systemic nature of these abuses and the need for accountability.
In 1993, Stacey Williams, then aged 56 and a former model, alleged that Donald Trump had inappropriately touched her after being introduced by Jeffrey Epstein. This claim emerged about two weeks before the 2024 presidential election.
According to an article in The Guardian, during a Zoom gathering of Kamala Harris supporters organized by Survivors4Harris on October 21, 2024, Williams shared an account of an incident that happened months following her initial meeting with Trump in December 1992. This meeting took place at a party hosted by Epstein, who was then Williams’ boyfriend. Epstein suggested they head to Trump Tower, and it was there where the unwanted groping incident transpired.
Williams detailed her experience of visiting Trump Tower. As she explained, upon arrival, Trump warmly greeted them, but then she was suddenly and forcefully grabbed and groped by him. Trump positioned his hands in such a way near Williams’ chest, waist, and hips that she was left bewildered and frozen with shock, struggling to process the situation.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share an insightful comment made during a recent virtual discussion. When discussing a certain individual, she expressed, “During that encounter, he inappropriately touched me on various parts of my body, including my breasts, waist, and bottom. In the moment, I found myself frozen.
26 women have accused Donald Trump of various degrees of sexual misconduct, which he has consistently denied. However, in May 2023, a civil court found Trump liable for sexually abusing author E. Jean Carroll. As a result, Trump was ordered to pay $5 million in damages to Carroll. Additionally, the jury’s decision led to Trump settling another $83 million in costs related to defamation at a later date.
Williams emphatically stated that she felt utterly shocked and thought she saw Epstein conversing amicably with Trump. According to Williams, this encounter left her feeling quite unsettled.
In her account, Williams mentioned that after the interaction, Epstein allegedly blamed her for the meeting by shouting at her. Subsequently, she recounted, Trump later sent her a postcard from Mar-a-Lago featuring an overhead image of the property and a message, “Stacey— Your second home. Warm regards, Donald.
In response to these claims, Trump’s legal team released a statement to People magazine, denying all allegations made against them. They maintained that these accusations were baseless and motivated by political factors, with a particular emphasis on the fact that Williams previously supported Barack Obama and spoke about this event during a Harris campaign call just two weeks before the election.
In the year 2019, Jeffrey Epstein, who had previously introduced Stacy Williams to Donald Trump, was taken into custody due to allegations of sex trafficking, particularly those involving underage individuals. Tragically, Epstein later took his own life in a detention center based in New York during the same year.
