Cardi B Pulls Out Of ONE MusicFest Citing Medical Emergency: ‘I Am So Sad To Share This News’

As a dedicated fan of Cardi B, I find myself deeply saddened by the news of her sudden hospitalization and subsequent cancellation of her performance at ONE MusicFest. The resilience this woman has shown throughout her life, from her humble beginnings to her meteoric rise in the music industry, is truly inspiring.

Cardi B announced on Instagram on October 23 that she won’t be performing in Atlanta, Georgia, as she had to seek medical treatment following an unexpected health issue. She regrettably conveyed her disappointment at missing the opportunity to connect with her fans over the weekend.

I’m deeply regretful to inform you that due to a medical emergency, I’ve been in the hospital the past few days and won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest this weekend. It saddens me immensely not to meet my fans during this event, and I truly wish I could join you. Bardi Gang, please understand my situation, and know that I’ll bounce back stronger soon. Don’t fret, I’m still here for you all. Love always.

The award-winning artist was slated to lead the concert, sharing the stage with Gunna, Jill Scott, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Victoria Monét. Over two days, from October 26th to 27th at Piedmont Park, this event will include performances by Sexxy Red, GloRilla, Keyshia Cole, T.I., Dru Hill, Fat Joe, Youngbloodz, Travis Porter, Saucy Santana, Will Traxx, Method Man, Redman, Fridayy, and others.

In October, Kendrick Lamar, Janet Jackson, and Megan Thee Stallion were the main acts at a festival that fell on the 50th anniversary of hip-hop’s origin.

As a devoted aficionado of all things music-related, I’m sad to share that the organizers behind ONE MusicFest have announced via social media that Cardi B’s performance at this year’s event has been called off. While it’s always disappointing when we have to miss out on seeing our favorite artists live, the safety and well-being of everyone involved is paramount. Let’s continue supporting these talented individuals and eagerly anticipate their future performances!

Hello OMFFamily! Regrettably, Iamcardib has shared that she won’t be able to join us this year due to persistent health concerns. Let’s send our well-wishes for her swift recovery. We’re actively seeking a replacement in such short notice.” (Instagram post)

In their private life, Cardi B is dealing with a challenging separation from her ex-husband Offset, whom she recently called out as being narcissistic and other derogatory terms. This couple, who welcomed their daughter less than a year ago in September, have been involved in a highly publicized back-and-forth exchange of harsh words since Cardi filed for divorce in August. In one of her Instagram Live sessions, Offset even accused Cardi of being unfaithful.

Apart from their latest child, the couple also has a 6-year-old daughter named Kulture and a 3-year-old son called Wave. The musicians have been married since 2017; however, they temporarily separated in 2020, intending to divorce. Fortunately, they reconciled, withdrawing their divorce filing instead.
