Square Enix’s TWO MOONS RISING Transforms LIFE IS STRANGE Universe Into a TTRPG Series

As a longtime fan of the Life is Strange series, I am beyond thrilled about Square Enix and Deck Nine’s upcoming masterpiece, Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The idea of Max Caulfield navigating through a parallel timeline to save her friend Safi is nothing short of captivating, and the supernatural murder mystery at its core promises an adventure that will keep me on the edge of my seat.

The upcoming game “Life is Strange: Double Exposure” developed by Square Enix and Deck Nine appears to be a thrilling journey. The story revolves around Max Caufield, who uncovers a gateway to an alternate reality when she discovers her friend Safi frozen to death in the snow. Fortunately, there’s another timeline where Safi is still alive, but her safety is at stake and time is rapidly dwindling.

In the realm of unexplained killings, Max finds herself confronted by a complex enigma that could have multiple solutions – a supernatural whodunit, if you will. However, before diving into this challenging assignment, experience another intriguing puzzle nestled within the same captivating world as our protagonist, Max Caulfield.

To mark the upcoming release of “Life is Strange: Double Exposure”, Square Enix collaborated with Compadre to develop a two-part live-action tabletop roleplaying game series, titled “Two Moons Rising”. This series is presented as an authentic in-universe true crime podcast, hosted by Loretta Rice.

On the eve of a Blood Moon, I join my fellow enthusiasts at the ominous Devil’s Tower for an exciting night out. Just like Max in Double Exposure, our team in Two Moons Rising is drawn into a perplexing mystery as violence erupts and hidden truths cast shadows over our futures. This gripping, tension-filled mystery features the talents of Ify Nwadiwe (Um, Actually), Aabria Iyengar (Worlds Beyond Number), Becca Scott (Good Time Society), Johnny Stanton IV (SINK! RPG) and our skilled gamemaster Jasmine Bhullar (Relics and Rarities).
