As a long-time fan of Critical Role, I can hardly contain my excitement for their upcoming world tour! With a decade of epic adventures under their belts, it’s truly a dream come true to see them embarking on this global journey. From the hallowed halls of Exandria to the bustling streets of New York City, I can only imagine the unforgettable moments that await us fans.
Exciting news! Critical Role is resuming their adventures! The live Dungeons & Dragons team is planning a global tour to mark the series’ 10th anniversary. In 2025, this tour will visit five distinct cities in the United States and Australia.
The team is set to organize live performances in several locations: Chicago (which is a suburb of Indianapolis), New York within the U.S., Sydney, and Melbourne in Australia. Members from the original cast, including Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey, and Liam O’Brien, will be attending these shows. The tour is being organized by AEG Presents and Australia Frontier Touring.
In the U.S., each show will continue independently, while the two Australian shows will share a somewhat interconnected storyline, as stated by the company. The main political parties in these Australian events will encounter one another, with their own distinct yet linked storylines.
Each stop on the Critical Role tour features a unique storyline. The Indiana performance will be a one-time adventure set in the world of Exandria, utilizing the Daggerheart game system. For the Chicago event, the audience gets to decide which original main characters from the Critical Role campaign the founders will portray for the night, as stated on the official Critical Role website.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the big event in New York will be the union of Fjord and Jester! Right after this showdown, our beloved cast will head over to New York Comic Con. There, we’ll get up close and personal with fans during signings, snap some memorable photos together, and even participate in a panel discussion. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Beacon’s streaming service members will get priority in purchasing tickets for upcoming shows before they become available to the general public. Furthermore, there are special “Fan Experience” tickets which grant an additional 45-minutes of pre-show interaction with the cast during a Q&A session.
Prior to embarking on their global journey, the Critical Role team will host a Christmas special on December 7 at Camden, New Jersey.
