Tom Holland Shares Touching Desire to Help Miles Morales in the MCU, Inspired by Robert Downey Jr.’s Support

As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast with a soft spot for the web-slinging heroes, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of Miles Morales gracing the MCU. Having grown up watching the Spider-Man animated series and admiring the vibrant character of Miles Morales, I can only imagine what it would be like to see him share the screen with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the animated movie franchise, Miles Morales is rapidly gaining a massive fanbase as one of Marvel’s favorite characters. As of now, he isn’t featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but whispers indicate that this might not be the case for much longer.

There’s a lot of talk that Miles might show up in the next Spider-Man movie (Spider-Man 4) or take part in Secret Wars, but until now, it hasn’t been officially verified.

Currently, Shameik Moore gives voice to Miles Morales, yet various other actors are proposed for the role when Miles Morales appears onscreen for the first time in live-action.

Six months back, Amy Pascal hinted that they might take on a live-action Miles Morales movie once they’ve wrapped up two more Spidey flicks, which I’m guessing are “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” and “Spider-Man 4”.

Hey there! As someone who’s always excited about Marvel stuff, I gotta say, it’s cool that Tom Holland’s been slinging webs as Spidey in the MCU. Folks have been wondering if Miles Morales might eventually step into those famous red shoes. But here’s something cool: in a chat with Rich Roll, Tom himself said he’d feel lucky to share the universe with Miles too! So, who knows what could happen down the line? 😉

The actor expressed his desire to assist Miles, just as Robert Downey Jr. helped him.

If given the opportunity to incorporate Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I would strive to provide the same impactful experience for a young character as [Robert] Downey Jr. did for me.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share an exciting tidbit! It turns out, the amazing Robert Downey Jr. successfully advocated for the Russo Brothers to incorporate lines from Tom Holland’s audition for Captain America: Civil War. Many of these lines were originally trimmed from the final cut of the film.

In a comparable fashion, Holland indicated his enthusiasm for championing a live-action Miles Morales actor should the character appear in the MCU, expressing gratitude for the support he himself received from Downey.

The two performers have a profound bond, evident not just in their acting together but also off set. Additionally, Holland revealed that he knew about Downey’s comeback as Doctor Doom even before the public announcement.
