It’s been over a decade since the show Jessie ended, but many of the original cast members recently reunited, and fans are thrilled to see them back together.
Debby Ryan recently reunited with her former co-stars – Karan Brar, Kevin Chamberlin, and Peyton List – in New York City. They were all working on separate projects in the city and shared a photo with their fans online.
Debby and Kevin connected while attending a performance of Karan’s off-Broadway play, “Data.” Peyton later joined them after her own show, “Heathers The Musical,” finished, and the evening quickly became a complete reunion.
Debby recently shared an update on Instagram about how much has changed since her and her Jessie co-stars were on Disney Channel. She posted that Karan Brar and Peyton List are now nine years older than she was when they began filming the show – the same age as her character, Jessie. She also shared that they, along with Kevin Chamberlin, are now living and working in New York City, pursuing theater, while she’s started a family of her own.

Debby recently shared some exciting personal news: she and her husband, Josh Dun, welcomed their daughter, Felix, last year! Fans, especially those who have followed her career for years, were thrilled to hear the announcement.
Debby Ryan’s co-stars quickly shared their own heartfelt messages. Karan Brar wrote about the joy she brings to his life, simply saying, “love you Deb.” Peyton List showed her support with “Felix Fan Club. Love you guys soo much.” Kevin Pacholik also joined in, posting photos and referencing the show’s theme song with the message, “It feels like a party every day with @debbyryan @karanbrar @peytonlist.”

Debby shared more about the reunion on her Instagram stories. She explained that whenever cast members get together, someone inevitably starts singing the show’s theme song – usually a fan, but this time it was Kevin. She also described the night as “hilarious and so sweet,” saying they reminisced about old times and how much they missed being part of the Jessie family. This information is all based on posts and stories from their official Instagram accounts.
The recent reunion brought back memories of how popular ‘Jessie’ was when it originally aired. The Disney Channel show centered around a young nanny looking after the children of a well-off family in New York City. It was a huge hit for the network and played a key role in launching the careers of several young performers.
Even after it originally ended, Jessie remained popular thanks to repeats on TV and streaming services. Many people still fondly remember its characters, funny moments, and catchy theme song. The show also spawned a spin-off and cultivated a dedicated online fanbase. For a lot of viewers, Jessie holds a special place as a nostalgic reminder of their childhood.
It’s wonderful to see the cast reunited and how much they still care for each other, despite pursuing different careers. While some have gone on to work in music, and others in film and theater, their bond from the show remains strong.
