‘Agatha All Along’ Ensures Scarlet Witch Remains More Relevant Than Ever in the MCU—Even After Death

As a long-time Marvel enthusiast who has witnessed the rise and fall of various heroes, I can confidently say that Scarlet Witch‘s impending return is the breath of fresh air the MCU desperately needs. With Iron Man gone for good, Doctor Doom taking over his spotlight, and Captain America’s buzz feeling like a Hulk movie, it seems the universe is in dire need of a comeback kid—and Wanda fits the bill perfectly.

In the follow-up show titled “Agatha All Along“, it was assumed that there would be numerous nods to the character, Scarlet Witch, even though she seemed to have reached a conclusion in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness“.

For the past year, key figures in the MCU have insisted that Scarlet Witch is dead. However, fans who believe this might just be an elaborate misdirection could be onto something.

In the show “Agatha All Along,” creator Jac Schaeffer has made it clear that Agatha should not be overshadowed by Wanda. However, the series seems to be laying the groundwork for Wanda’s reappearance. So, what makes Wanda’s return so crucial this time around?

Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finds itself in an unusual position, particularly concerning its past Avengers. Permanently, Iron Man is out of the picture – this has been confirmed by Kevin Feige. On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr. is reprising his role as Doctor Doom, and fans might have a tough time distinguishing him from his legendary character, Tony Stark. They’ll probably keep looking for traces of Iron Man within his new persona.

Currently, Sam Wilson is our new Captain America, yet his upcoming film’s excitement seems rather subdued, giving off an air more akin to a Hulk movie. As for Thor, there’s talk of another movie in the series, but some fans are quite apprehensive, worried it might continue the character’s downfall following recent interpretations.

In addition to facing criticism, The Hulk has been widely perceived as a character whose potential hasn’t fully been realized by most fans. Similarly, Shuri’s Black Panther and Captain Marvel’s recent movies have fallen short of expectations, causing them to take a backseat for the moment. With numerous crucial characters either mismanaged or underachieving, Wanda’s return could inject a fresh dose of excitement and consistency into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This conversation leads us once more to Scarlet Witch, a founding member of the Avengers, whose narrative might not have been perfectly managed in the past. However, with enough time elapsed, fans are now excitedly anticipating what will happen in the next phase of her story.

As a die-hard gamer, I’ve got to say that Agatha All Along has managed to keep Wanda Maximoff in the limelight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe once more. It’s evident that the Witches’ Road is paving the way for her reappearance. However, her resurgence won’t be straightforward; it demands a strategic plotline that unfolds gradually over various projects. Based on the whispers I’ve been hearing, it could very well be the long-anticipated Children’s Crusade that sets the stage for her comeback.

In the narrative of “The Children’s Crusade,” the Young Avengers, particularly Wiccan, embark on a quest to locate and challenge Scarlet Witch. Due to her reality-changing actions in “Avengers Disassembled” and “House of M,” her influence over the Marvel Universe became indisputable. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), these tales could be skillfully reimagined with a multiversal twist.

It’s exciting to see that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has begun introducing the Young Avengers team, with Kamala Khan taking the lead and several members already in place. If the rumored Young Avengers project is indeed moving forward, it would be a shame not to explore the intricate relationship between Wiccan and Speed and their supposedly deceased mother.

Despite her demise, it appears that the Scarlet Witch’s cinematic journey is set to be exceptionally significant. We have high expectations that she will take on a pivotal part in future Marvel Cinematic Universe productions, potentially spanning far beyond the Multiversal Arc.
