Disney+ remains the leader in streaming, offering a wide variety of shows and movies – from beloved animated films to big-budget action hits. Recent viewership numbers show people are enjoying both classic favorites and newer movies that recently left theaters. Viewers of all ages are drawn to well-known franchises and interconnected movie worlds, and both Pixar films and live-action series are proving consistently popular with subscribers.
‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ (2018)

Ralph and Vanellope, the video game duo, venture into the internet to find a crucial part that will save Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush, from being permanently closed. Along the way, they navigate the world of websites, social media, and even meet the Disney Princesses. The movie is a story about how friendships change and grow when people step outside of what they’re used to.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019)

Okay, so after the gut-wrenching fallout of the last movie, Avengers: Endgame brings our heroes back together, and their mission is simple: fix what Thanos broke and save the universe. They do this by taking a seriously ambitious step – time travel! – to collect the Infinity Stones from the past. Honestly, it’s a massive, satisfying conclusion to everything Marvel’s been building for over a decade, bringing together a huge cast of characters we’ve all come to know and love. It absolutely crushed box office records when it came out, and it’s still a movie I find myself revisiting again and again on streaming – it really holds up.
‘Wreck-It Ralph’ (2012)

I’m really captivated by the story of Ralph! He’s this video game bad guy who just decides he’s done with being the villain. So he sets off on this incredible journey to try and earn a medal, traveling between all these different games in the arcade. He ends up in Sugar Rush, which is this totally wild, candy-themed racing world, and that’s where he meets Vanellope. She’s a ‘glitch’ – basically, a character with a flaw – but she’s determined to become a racer. It’s such a heartwarming story about figuring out who you are and finding acceptance, all set in this amazing digital world.
‘2012’ (2009)

This movie is a disaster thriller about a writer trying to protect his family when the world starts falling apart. The story suggests these catastrophes – huge tsunamis, earthquakes, and volcanoes – are linked to predictions from the Mayan calendar and could wipe out humanity. As things get worse, world leaders put a secret plan into action to save as many people as possible. The film is famous for its spectacular visual effects and intense, gripping story of survival.
‘Inside Out 2’ (2024)

As Riley gets older and enters her teens, big changes happen inside her mind. New emotions like Anxiety, Envy, and Embarrassment join Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, and they all have to learn to work together. Riley faces the usual teenage challenges – school, friends, and figuring out who she is – and these experiences cause her to grow and change. This movie builds on the ideas from the first film, exploring the complicated feelings that come with being a teenager.
‘The Devil Wears Prada’ (2006)

New journalism graduate Andy Sachs unexpectedly finds herself working as an assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful and intimidating editor of a top fashion magazine. Though she initially dislikes the fashion world, Andy quickly learns to navigate its demanding atmosphere and her boss’s impossible standards. The film examines the personal costs people often face when trying to succeed in a competitive career, and is known for its strong acting and realistic portrayal of office life.
‘Zootopia’ (2016)

In the vibrant city of Zootopia, where animals walk and talk like humans, Judy Hopps makes history as the first rabbit police officer. She reluctantly partners with Nick Wilde, a sly fox with a knack for scams, to investigate the disappearance of several predators. As they dig deeper, they uncover a hidden plot that could shatter the peace of the entire city. The movie cleverly explores issues of bias and assumptions through its richly imagined world and well-developed characters.
‘Predator: Badlands’ (2025)

This latest installment in the popular series takes place in the near future and focuses on a new group of humans facing off against a highly advanced alien hunter. The story centers on two sisters who have grown apart and must work together to survive. While delivering the intense action and suspense fans expect, the film also adds new strategic elements to the established story. It’s proven popular with viewers since its recent release.
‘Bluey’s Big Play’ (2026)

This new film brings the popular Heeler family to life with puppets and live actors. It tells a story about Bluey and Bingo trying to get their dad to put down his phone and play with them, using their imaginations. The story is written by the creator of the show, Joe Brumm, and features music by Joff Bush. It’s a special way for fans to see the characters in a movie-like experience.
‘Zootopia 2’ (2025)

In the new movie, detectives Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back, solving a puzzling case that sends them across the diverse areas of their animal city. They encounter a secretive new reptile character who throws the city into chaos, and the pair must go undercover to investigate. Their teamwork is challenged as they uncover secrets from the city’s past. Following the success of the 2016 film, this sequel has quickly become very popular with online viewers.
