As a lifelong fan of Daredevil who has seen every iteration of his costume since the days of Ben Affleck, I must say that the new suit revealed for “Daredevil: Born Again” is a refreshing take on the character’s iconic look. The red and black color scheme harkens back to the classic comics while still feeling fresh and modern.
“Daredevil: Born Again,” set to debut on Disney+ in March 2025, is generating significant excitement within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This upcoming release is expected to seamlessly incorporate Daredevil into the MCU, alongside a variety of characters from his previous Netflix series.
In this latest edition, a brand-new costume appears for Daredevil. Throughout three seasons, Daredevil’s on-screen appearances have showcased various costumes, starting with a DIY black suit and progressing to a sleek red armored one crafted by professionals.
In the series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” viewers enjoyed a refreshed look for Daredevil, featuring a Yellow and Red suit that aligned with the show’s humorous and less serious atmosphere. The yellow helmet and accents were an homage to his original costume from the 1960s, which was a more vintage and comic-accurate design.
Instead of the previous depiction, it seems that the revival of Born Again is leaning towards a more rugged style, as recent set leaks suggest a freshly designed armored suit. This new suit predominantly showcases a deep red hue with subtle black accents, making it noticeably darker compared to its Netflix counterpart. However, these color differences could be altered in post-production.

We saw this exact outfit again during the re-filming of the series this past spring, and it appears that the logo is still absent.

In summary, most fans seem to like the suit, but they’re worried about its lack of a logo and current color. It’s plausible that this color issue will be addressed during post-production, considering the anticipation for the series to adopt a more somber and moody atmosphere.

It’s very red

I really enjoy it, but on a personal note, I believe it could have an enhanced visual appeal if the black sections were changed to a deep red.

It is besides the muscles on the front, they make it look like a Halloween costume

If it weren’t for the cowl, you wouldn’t recognize this suit as belonging to a daredevil, and overall, it’s not particularly impressive. However, I do appreciate its bolder red color.

To be honest, it’s a tad “comic-booky” for my taste with all the additional panels, lines, and details. However, I can’t deny that it does look impressive.

It’s quite possible that there will be more suits featured in the show besides the one we’ve already seen. The trailer unveiled at this year’s D-23 seems to suggest a number of different costumes, such as his black ‘Shadowland’ suit.
