“Red Haired Woman”: Did You Catch the Recent Wanda Hint from ‘Agatha All Along’ Episode 4?

As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast who’s been through the highs and lows of the MCU, I can confidently say that Agatha All Along is shaping up to be a fascinating addition to the universe. With its intriguing plot twists and tantalizing hints at Wanda’s return, it’s like being on the edge of my seat during an epic boss fight.

Agatha All Along is thriving and promises to be a pivotal and captivating element in the MCU, making it noteworthy. So far, the series has unveiled five out of nine episodes, and the enigma surrounding Agatha’s character and the Witches’ Road is deepening, creating even more excitement among fans.

Concurrently with the storyline unfolding in the series, speculation persists among fans about whether the Scarlet Witch will be featured; given that Agatha All Along is a spin-off of WandaVision, it’s understandable that viewers are eager to know if Wanda – who also has a son in the series – might reappear.

Following the events of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, it’s uncertain what will happen to the character, but there are many rumors circulating. Interestingly, “Agatha All Along” appears to be hinting at Wanda Maximoff, as shown in Episode 4, with numerous references scattered throughout.

Episode 4 of Agatha All Along, titled “If I Can’t Reach You / Let My Song Teach You”, aired on October 2, 2024 and while it’s been some time since the episode, we think that it is worth revisiting since the episode contained a major tease related to Wanda.

On various occasions, we’ve hinted that Elizabeth Olsen’s character might reappear in the show. Although her apparent demise was shown early on and the series initially suggested she was dead, subsequent episodes have subtly referenced her character, making this an intriguing observation to make.

As a devoted fan, I’ve been eagerly speculating about Wanda’s possible cameo in the series. Although neither the cast nor the crew have explicitly confirmed or denied this exciting rumor, showrunner Jac Schaeffer did hint at something intriguing during an earlier interview. She said, “Wanda is a character we love and care deeply about, so it feels wrong to say there will never be more WandaMaximoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.” This statement certainly fuels my speculation!

There was a lot of thought given to the development of the story. A fitting expression for this might be: Agatha’s character casts a strong shadow. However, Agatha Harkness is not a character who will be overshadowed by others. Therefore, it can be said that “WandaVision” primarily revolves around Agatha Harkness. That being said, we are in the realm of the “WandaVision” universe, so Wanda’s influence is woven into the narrative. However, the main emphasis of the show lies with Agatha, exploring her journey and unveiling the truth about her character.

Indeed, “Agatha All Along” primarily centers around Agatha, yet it’s not out of the question that Wanda might make an appearance, given the significant events within the series. However, as Schaeffer mentioned, Wanda won’t be the main character in this show, since Agatha would presumably prevent such a scenario from unfolding.

Moving on, let’s revisit Episode 4 where a reference was made that really resonated with us. This reference occurred during the 1970s-themed trial scene when Alice sang “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road,” a song that functioned as a protective charm given Alice’s role as the protective witch. Interestingly, Alice’s record includes a track called “Red Haired Woman,” which appears to be another subtle hint towards Wanda.

We’re not sure if this is a hint or a preview, but either way, we can’t wait to find out what transpires!
