Xilonen Team Compositions

As a seasoned Teyvat traveler and long-time resident of Mondstadt, I can confidently say that Xilonen is quickly becoming a staple character for various team compositions due to her versatile abilities. Her unique blend of Geo and Healing powers makes her an invaluable asset in any party, whether you’re venturing through the verdant hills of Mondstadt or braving the treacherous landscapes of the rest of Teyvat.

Xilonen is a top-tier, five-star character with roles as a supporter and healer. In the team setup, she boosts survivability and reduces an enemy’s Elemental Resistance via her Source Samples, all while dealing considerable Geo damage that scales off of her Defense stat.

How Xilonen Helps:

  • Xilonen’s Source Samples can decrease Elemental RES, allowing DPS units to trigger strong reactions.
  • During Nightsoul’s Blessing, she reduces Elemental RES and adds rapid Geo DMG through her Blade Roller kicks, supplementing team DPS without overtaking the main reaction.
  • When using her Burst Ocelotlicue Point!, Xilonen can heal teammates if at least two of her Source Samples are non-Geo, keeping DPS characters sustained.

As a seasoned gamer here, I’ve compiled some top-tier team setups, complete with their go-to builds, right here. Plus, you’ll get tips on the best team strategies to ensure victory in no time!

Vaporise

In Vaporise squads, Xilonen offers a decrease in resistance that can be transferred to Pyro or Hydro, contingent on the team composition. Her DEF-scaled Geo damage boosts Vaporise reactions by lowering Elemental Resistance, while her Elemental Burst offers extra healing to maintain aggressive playstyle. Here’s an example of a Vaporise team featuring Mualani as the Main DPS, Furina and Xiangling as Sub DPS, and Xilonen serving as the Support/Healer.

Alternate Vaporise teams could have a composition of:

  • Hu Tao (Main DPS) – Xingqiu (Sub DPS) – Thoma (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Yanfei (Main DPS) – Xingqiu (Sub DPS) – Kazuha / Sucrose (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Ayato (Main DPS) – Yelan (Sub DPS) – Xiangling (Sub DPS) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)

Mono Pyro

In a Mono Pyro squad, Xilonen provides reliable aid and healing. By lowering Pyro RES, she boosts Pyro DPS significantly and shields them from incoming harm, with her Geo skills offering off-field assistance, amplifying Pyro damage without interfering with Pyro resonance. Here’s an example of a Mono Pyro team consisting of Arlecchino as the main DPS, Kazuha and Xilonen as supports, and Bennett as the healer.

Alternate Mono Pyro teams could have a composition of:

  • Diluc (Main DPS) – Thoma (Sub DPS) – Kazuha (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Yoimiya (Main DPS) – Klee (Sub DPS) – Sucrose (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Yanfei (Main DPS) – Xiangling (Sub DPS) – Sucrose (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)

Mono Geo

This configuration maximally utilizes Xilonen’s Geo resonance and her damage output based on Defense (DEF). She works effectively with other Geo characters, providing durability and maintaining a significant DEF enhancement that amplifies her healing potential. Here is an illustration of a single-Geo team featuring Arataki Itto as the primary DPS, Furina as the secondary DPS, Gorou as the support, and Xilonen as the support/healer.

Alternate Mono Geo teams could have a composition of:

  • Noelle (Main DPS) – Ningguang (Sub DPS) – Gorou (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Navia (Main DPS) – Yunjin (Sub DPS) – Zhongli (Shielder) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)

This Mono Geo squad comprises Navia, who serves as the primary damage dealer, Xiangling, who contributes as the secondary damage dealer, Xilonen, who supports the team, and finally, Bennett, who assumes the role of healer.

Mono Hydro

In a Mono Hydro squad, Xilonen functions as a defensive pillar, enhancing the damage output of Hydro while providing reliable area-of-effect Geo support. Her defense-oriented healing abilities and Blade Roller mode make her a resilient team member, enabling Hydro DPS characters to unleash their full offensive potential without worrying about shielding or sustenance. Here’s an example of a Mono Hydro team: Neuvillette as the main DPS, Furina as the sub-DPS, Kazuha as the support, and Xilonen as both the support and healer.

Alternate Mono Hydro teams could have a composition of:

  • Tartaglia (Main DPS) – Yelan (Sub DPS) – Mona (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Ayato (Main DPS) – Candace (Sub DPS) – Xingqiu (Sub DPS) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)

Catalyse

In a Catalyze squad, Xilonen lends assistance by reducing Electro and Dendro RES with her Source Samples and employing Blade Roller mode for DEF-based Geo DMG. She boosts Aggravate and Spread reactions for synergy between Dendro and Electro, while simultaneously shielding and healing high-risk, high-reward damage dealers with her protective abilities. Here’s an example of a Catalyze team featuring Raiden Shogun as the primary DPS, Nahida as the secondary DPS, Kujou Sara as the support character, and Xilonen as the support/healer.

Alternate Catalyse teams could have a composition of:

  • Keqing (Main DPS) – Yae Miko (Sub DPS) – Collei (Sub DPS) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Cyno (Main DPS) – Nahida (Sub DPS) – Kuki Shinobu (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
  • Alhaitham (Main DPS) – Fischl (Sub DPS) – Sucrose (Support) – Xilonen (Support / Healer)
