According to People and The Sun’s photos, the singer of “On My Mama” was spotted locking lips with Stormzy at London airport. The tabloids reported that they spent quality time together, even sharing affectionate moments. These public displays of affection occurred shortly after Monét announced her divorce from Gaines, who she shares a three-year-old daughter Hazel with. Notably, Stormzy and Maya Jama announced their separation three months prior to these incidents.
The last occasion fans heard from Monét and Gaines as a couple was on September 23rd, when they posted on social media that they had separated. In this announcement, they confirmed that their relationship had ended 10 months prior, but they had remained silent until they felt compelled to address questions about their relationship and refute “exaggerated rumors” surrounding their origin story.
