New ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Teaser Reveals a Better Look at Knull, the King in Black

As a hardcore Marvel fan who’s been following the comics and movies since the early days of Iron Man, I must say that the upcoming Venom: The Last Dance has me both excited and worried. The prospect of Eddie Brock and Venom teaming up to take down the SSU’s biggest threat yet is thrilling, but the mystery surrounding Knull leaves me scratching my head.

In just under two weeks, excitement for the movie Venom: The Last Dance is growing steadily. Based on what we’ve glimpsed in trailers and sneak peeks, it seems that Eddie and Venom will have to team up to tackle the most formidable enemy the Security and Intelligence Agency (SSU) has ever encountered.

It appears that the planet is on the brink of being overtaken by Xenophages, a threat that could materialize soon. This invasion might be engineered by one of Marvel Comics’ most fearsome antagonists, Knull.

About a month back, it was confirmed that Knull would make an appearance in the upcoming movie. However, specifics about his role are scarce, mostly stemming from whispers and conjecture. It’s said that Andy Serkis will play Knull, but he is expected to have a brief, unengaging part in the film. Throughout the movie, neither Eddie nor Venom are likely to cross paths with him.

The trailer didn’t reveal much about Knull, featuring only a few carefully selected shots. However, the latest teaser released on X provides a clearer glimpse of the King in Black:

New look at KNULL for Venom The Last Dance

In the presentation of Knull, he’s easily recognizable with his distinctive white mane, standing against authentic comic settings. Yet, it raises a point of interest that the promotional content focusing on Knull predominantly employs the same limited number of shots (around 2-3) that have been prevalent in the trailer thus far.

These snippets seem to suggest they could be from an extra scene shown after the credits, a possibility that coincides with whispers about Knull’s appearance in Venom 3 being limited to just a brief cameo.

Nonetheless, even if Knull has a minor part in this film, many industry insiders are suggesting he will crossover into the MCU, potentially serving as the main villain in the upcoming Spider-Man 4. So there’s definitely something to look forward to!
