Wolfs Star Austin Abrams Opens Up About His Experience Working With George Clooney And Brad Pitt; Says: ‘They Are Super Warm Guys’

As an ardent film enthusiast who’s lived through countless movie nights and countless hours of binge-watching, I can confidently say that witnessing Austin Abrams share the screen with George Clooney and Brad Pitt in Wolfs was nothing short of a dream come true. The experience for Abrams himself seemed just as surreal, as he confessed to not even daring to imagine such a collaboration so early in his career.

Austin Abrams discusses his time collaborating with George Clooney and Brad Pitt on the recently launched Apple TV+ series “Wolfs”. Although his character contributes to the film’s humor, Austin shares that working alongside these seasoned actors was not just about their on-screen presence.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Abrams shared that the idea of collaborating on a movie with Pitt and Clooney was never crossed his mind so early in his career.

During an interview with the media, the young actor reminisced about the heartwarming reception he received from the Oceans team. He explained, “If I had dared to imagine it or had the boldness to believe it could happen.

Abrams also mentioned, “It’s hard to imagine anyone not being thrilled about this. It’s incredible to collaborate with these two individuals whose work I’ve admired for a long time.

In the action-comedy, Abrams is portrayed as a character who had apparently died from a drug overdose. Yet, as Clooney and Pitt attempt to dispose of the body by placing it at the back of their car, the seemingly deceased individual suddenly opens his eyes, astonishingly revealing that he’s still alive.

During the chat with the entertainment site, Abrams explained his role by saying, “The character I play is innocent and acts impulsively from the heart, often without fully considering the consequences. As a result, he frequently finds himself in a predicament where he’s trying to assist someone.

He went on to add that his character “encounters these guys that he’s at first scared of and intimidated by, and then starts to get more comfortable and feels like they’re on his side a bit more.”

For many years, Clooney and Pitt have enjoyed a strong camaraderie, which blossomed during their collaborations on the Ocean’s trilogy and extended beyond the set into an affectionate, brother-like bond.

Regarding Abrams, who played a significant role alongside the other two actors, he brought a witty, sarcastic vibe to the set and the camera, blending seamlessly with the group.

The up-and-coming performer mentioned, “They are incredibly friendly and inviting individuals, making me feel at ease.” You can catch ‘Wolfs’ online via Apple TV+ or in select cinemas.
