I’m really enjoying what Disney+ has to offer this week! There’s a great mix of everything – from big, impressive dramas to beautifully made animated shorts. I’ve been able to watch everything from heartwarming international love stories and gripping true crime documentaries to funny and clever superhero shows. It’s cool to see so many well-known actors and filmmakers involved, and a lot of the shows really make you think about important issues. Plus, there’s tons of stuff the whole family can enjoy together, which is awesome.
‘Friends Like These: The Murder of Skylar Neese’ (2026)

This documentary series delves into the 2012 murder of a teenager in West Virginia. Directed by Clair Titley, it reveals how two high school friends planned and carried out the crime. Using old footage and interviews, the series pieces together what happened before the tragic event, offering a heartbreaking look at a friendship gone terribly wrong.
‘Paradise’ (2025)

This thrilling political mystery, created by Dan Fogelman, takes place in a high-tech underground bunker after a global catastrophe. The story kicks off when the former President is found murdered, and Sterling K. Brown plays the lead investigator determined to solve the crime. The series explores the intense conflicts and power struggles within a society struggling to survive.
‘Love Story’ (2026)

This series, created by Ryan Murphy, tells the love stories of famous people from history. The first season focuses on John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, detailing their romance, the constant attention from the media, and the heartbreaking events surrounding their deaths. The show combines real historical details with fictional drama to tell the story of their lives and lasting impact.
‘In Your Radiant Season’ (2026)

This Korean drama is a heartwarming romance about a designer who keeps his feelings hidden and a deaf animator. Starring Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop, the story shows how they help each other heal through a blossoming relationship. New episodes were released in early March, continuing to build their connection. The series is praised for its thoughtful and realistic depiction of communication and overcoming emotional challenges.
‘Zootopia+’ (2022)

I’m so excited ‘Zootopia’ is back! This new series from Disney takes us right back to that amazing animal city, but this time we get to see what life is like for some of the fun, smaller characters we met in the movie. We get to follow characters like Fru Fru and Flash in their everyday adventures. It’s really cool because each short is funny and they’re even experimenting with different animation styles, which just adds to the world they’ve created. It really expands on everything we loved about the original!
‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ (2024)

This reality show follows a group of social media influencers in Utah whose lives were turned upside down by a public scandal. It reveals the drama and broken friendships that happened after rumors surfaced about a lifestyle involving open relationships within their community. The series also offers a look at what it’s like to be a modern Mormon family navigating life in the public eye, and how these women try to rebuild their lives and reputations after the scandal.
‘Bluey’ (2018)

This popular animated series from Australia centers around a lively Blue Heeler puppy and her family. Each episode highlights the power of imagination and the valuable lessons kids learn as they grow up. Though made for preschoolers, the show has become a hit with adults too, who appreciate its realistic portrayal of modern family life. It’s still incredibly popular and has a large collection of episodes you can stream anytime.
‘Wonder Man’ (2026)

This funny and self-aware Marvel series features Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams. It tells the story of an actor and stunt performer who gains superpowers while navigating the challenges of Hollywood. Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery, adding some familiar humor from past Marvel movies. The show combines superhero action with a playful look at the world of filmmaking.
‘Robogobo’ (2025)

As a big animation fan, I recently discovered this really cute show for preschoolers! It’s about five adopted pets who get these amazing high-tech suits, and they basically become superheroes protecting their city. What I love is that they always work together to solve problems and keep everyone safe. It launched in early 2025 as part of Disney’s push for shows that are both fun and educational, and it’s got some great messages about teamwork, how awesome it is to adopt, and using technology in cool, creative ways.
‘The Beauty’ (2026)

As a huge fan of twisty thrillers, I was immediately hooked by this new series created by Ryan Murphy. It stars Evan Peters and Anthony Ramos as detectives investigating something truly bizarre: a sexually transmitted disease that makes people unbelievably beautiful… but it’s a beauty with a terrifying price. The show really digs into our obsession with looks and how far people will go to be considered perfect, and it’s a pretty unsettling ride.
Tell us which of these series you plan on watching this week in the comments.
