AGATHA ALL ALONG Hits Us With Another Sad Death in the Coven

As a longtime fan of Wiccan comics, I must say that this latest turn of events in “Agatha All Along” has left me both heartbroken and intrigued. Having followed the character’s journey from his humble beginnings to becoming a prominent member of the Young Avengers, it’s disheartening to see him resorting to such extreme measures.

The fifth installment of “Agatha All Along” left viewers with much to ponder. The most striking development was unveiling Teen as a Wiccan, but this twist emerged from a poignant moment. In this episode, the coven encounters another trial, this time involving Agatha Harkness’ spectral mother Evanora. She claims that Agatha was inherently evil and should have been put to death as an infant. Undeniably, we do not support infanticide, but Agatha underscores her menacing nature once more when she slays Alice. Indeed, it’s quite remarkable.

In this scenario, Evanora takes over Agatha’s physical form, intending for the coven to abandon her as retribution for her past misdeeds. Alice tries to rescue Agatha using her abilities, but when Evanora departs from her body, Agatha draws all of Alice’s powers and depletes her life energy instead. A distraught teenager pleads with Agatha to restore Alice, but Jen explains that they cannot revive her. This leads to a tense exchange between Agatha and the teenager. Ultimately, Alice succumbs to her injuries following Evanora’s perceived betrayal, which she claims was unintentional.

A young practitioner of Wicca, provoked by Alice’s death in “Agatha All Along,” uses his mind control abilities to manipulate Jen and Lilia into pushing Agatha into dangerous quicksand. He follows this act by throwing the two women into the same predicament and continues on his path. It appears that he orchestrated these events with a hidden agenda, possibly speeding up his plans due to Alice’s demise. However, it is yet to be seen what his next move will be in the series. For now, we mourn the untimely and undeserved end of Alice, who only wished to be a good friend and witch.
