Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars are all connected – we’ve seen characters and stories overlap between them frequently. Young actor Ravi Cabot-Conyers, who has appeared in both Disney and Star Wars projects (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew), recently stated at the Saturn Awards that he’s hoping to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe next.

As a huge fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, I loved seeing everyone come together at the Saturn Awards in Los Angeles on March 8th! It was awesome to see legends like George Lucas, Christopher McQuarrie, and William Shatner get recognized for their contributions. I was especially excited about Star Wars: Skeleton Crew getting some love – it’s so cool they’re trying something new with a show led by young actors. And speaking of young actors, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, who’s only 15, won an award for Best Younger Performer! It was so well-deserved. Before Star Wars, he actually voiced one of the youngest Madrigal family members in Encanto – what a talent! Everyone’s wondering what he’s planning to do next, and I’m definitely curious to find out!
He enthusiastically praised Marvel in the press room, saying, “I was prepared to talk about them! I’m a big fan, and I’ve had the chance to work with Jon Favreau, who’s closely involved with Marvel.”
The young actor shared that he’d love to work on any upcoming Marvel project, but specifically mentioned Moon Knight as a standout series. “I’m open to anything,” he said, smiling, “but Moon Knight is one of my all-time favorites. I’d be thrilled to be involved if they ever make another season.”
It’s pretty common for characters to appear in both Disney’s Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe. For example, Samuel L. Jackson has played roles in both franchises, as have Natalie Portman and several other actors like Oscar Isaac and Andy Serkis. Because of this, it’s definitely possible that Cabot-Conyers could appear in a Marvel project in the future.
The show Star Wars: Skeleton Crew received nominations at the Saturn Awards for Best New Genre Television Series and Jude Law for Best Supporting Actor. Currently, plans are underway for a second season.
