Jennifer Garner Tried Coffee For The First Time In Her Early 20s Because Of Benjamin Bratt; ‘I Could Taste My Heartbeat’

As a dedicated follower of Jennifer Garner‘s career and life journey, I find her experiences both inspiring and amusing. Her tale of her first coffee encounter is a testament to the struggles and triumphs that young artists face when they first step into the big city with dreams in their eyes.

In a humorous twist, seasoned actress Jennifer Garner shared an intriguing account of her unique initial coffee encounter during a chat on The Kelly Clarkson Show on October 3. She recounted the amusing story of her particularly peculiar first day with coffee in her life.

30 years back, she often thought about her life in bustling New York City, where she juggled work at a restaurant and acting auditions. It was during this time that she secured a part on Law & Order, playing a romantic interest alongside lead actor Benjamin Bratt.

What transpired subsequently was more than just a humorous anecdote about an excessive amount of coffee causing anxiety for the actress. She would later share her experience with host Kelly Clarkson by saying, “It felt like I could actually taste my heartbeats.

Before the filming began, Brat recommended that they both have a meeting over coffee to familiarize themselves prior to shooting their scenes. At this point, even though she had never had coffee before, Garner – who was in her early 20s at the time – responded positively to Bratt’s suggestion by saying “Sure thing!” or simply “Absolutely.

Garner confessed to Clarkson that she was making an effort to be quite modest, and she promptly accepted his invitation for a coffee get-together.

As soon as Garner and Bratt got together, the Miss Congeniality star asked for a double latte with an additional shot. She clarified to Clarkson, “That meant three shots of espresso in a latte!” She then added, “I requested the same drink. I’m guessing I dumped a cup of sugar into it.

Later on, she was close to exceeding her daily caffeine consumption when Benjamin Bratt suggested, “Let’s have another one.” In response, Garner agreed, “That sounds great,” and ordered the same.

Regrettably, the coffee Garner consumed didn’t turn out favorably for her. The stimulating effects left her feeling extremely restless and disoriented, forcing her to cancel a previously arranged audition on that very same day.

Initially not a fan, Life’s unpredictable nature has turned her into a devotee of the drink. Garner frequently experiments with her coffee preferences and usually goes for an almond milk cappuccino. On occasion, she selects a flat white or cortado, as reported by PEOPLE.
