Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Will EJ Convince Paulina to Keep Him as District Attorney?

As a long-time fan of Days of Our Lives, I can’t help but feel my heart racing with anticipation as each new episode unfolds! The intricate web of relationships and power struggles within the DiMera family always leaves me on the edge of my seat.

On the 7th of October, coming Monday, spoilers for Days of Our Lives suggest that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel), aiming to retain his role as Salem’s district attorney, will make a daring move. With Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) recanting his accusations and stepping back, EJ seizes the chance to win over Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). In another plotline, Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and Stefan will find themselves at the end of their marriage, while Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) encounters problems at home due to a deceptive “Abigail” (AnnaLynne McCord).

Days of Our Lives Spoilers and Highlights

EJ intends to leverage Stefan’s sworn statement, declaring the allegations against him were unfounded, for his benefit. He is banking on this evidence helping him retain his role as district attorney, even though Paulina might still hold reservations. Determined to secure his position, EJ will make strong pledges and take bold steps in his negotiations with Paulina.

In response to Stefan sharing that he’s talked to a lawyer and initiated divorce proceedings, Gabi shows signs of strong emotions. Despite her attempts to hide it, it’s apparent she hasn’t let go of her feelings for Stefan. A recent dream where Stefan asked her to come back again indicates her inner turmoil. Nevertheless, Stefan continues to push ahead with the divorce, forcing Gabi to argue, though not convincingly, that this is what’s best.

At the DiMera residence, Chad desires to inform his offspring Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte (Autumn Gendron) that “Abigail” is indeed alive and has returned to Salem. Yet, “Abigail” objects, requesting additional time, explaining she requires more time to recollect her memories before reconnecting with the children. In truth, this “Abigail” is a false imposter, exploiting the situation to control Chad, even proposing they travel to Paris to help trigger her memory recall.

The situation becomes complicated when Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) unexpectedly meets Thomas, Charlotte, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) at Sweet Bits. A careless remark from Leo causes confusion among the kids about “Abigail’s” imminent arrival. Julie might need to intervene swiftly to clarify, but this misunderstanding could potentially add to the turmoil in Chad’s children’s lives.
