Did Trisha Yearwood Sell Her Tennessee Home A Day Before Garth Brooks Faced Assault Lawsuit? REPORT

As a longtime follower and admirer of Garth Brooks’ music, I must say that this recent turn of events has left me feeling a mix of emotions. On one hand, I am saddened by the allegations against someone I have always looked up to, but on the other, I am not entirely surprised.

On October 2nd, Tuesday, Trisha Yearwood, wife of Garth Brooks, announced the closing of their Brentwood, Tennessee mansion. This grand estate, spanning 6,553 square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, was sold for $3.334 million the day before a rape and sexual assault lawsuit was filed against her husband.

In 2000, Brooks purchased the property, which was subsequently theirs five years before Yearwood wedded Brooks in 2005, according to Realtor.com. The couple listed this house for sale at $4.5 million in May 2023. Earlier prices for the listing were set at $3.95 million in April and later adjusted to $3.8 million in September.

As reported by People, this house, nestled on a spacious 4.42 acres, boasts not only its scenic location but also comes fully equipped with various amenities. Among these are two secure entrances, and a luxurious kitchen featuring premium Wolf appliances such as a 30-inch gourmet microwave, twin ovens, a stylish Sub-Zero refrigerator, a six-burner stove, and additional equipment for cooking enjoyment.

The sale took place just before a flurry of accusations against Brooks, aged 62, surfaced in the media the following day. His ex-stylist and makeup artist, using the pseudonym “Jane Roe” in the lawsuit, alleged sexual assault and rape by the singer in 2019.

Additional points of the allegations involve him exposing himself to Brooks, discussing his sexual desires while near her, and sending sexually suggestive messages. Furthermore, Roe claims that it was common for Brooks to undress in front of her on multiple occasions. There were instances where he overstepped boundaries by making inappropriate comments.

As an ardent admirer putting this into my own words, I’d say: It was revealed in the legal action that they, his supporters, were indeed aware of Brooks’ intention to sue him. In a move seemingly aimed at staying one step ahead, they covertly submitted a preemptive claim against her, labeling her as a deceiver and an extortionist. However, Brooks’ legal team refuted most of the claims made in the lawsuit.

Brooks stated to the media, “Approximately a month ago, we initiated a lawsuit against an individual to combat extortion and slanderous remarks about our character. We chose to file it anonymously to protect the families involved on both sides.
