Millie Bobby Brown’s Stranger Things ‘Papa’ Was Part Of Her Wedding Ceremony As THIS

As a dedicated fan who has followed Millie Bobby Brown’s journey since her Stranger Things debut, it’s heartwarming to see the real-life connections that have been formed behind the scenes. Matthew Modine, who played the enigmatic Papa on the show, officiating Millie’s wedding to Jake Bongiovi is a testament to the strong bonds created within the Stranger Things family.

In real life, just like a regular dad, Matthew Modine who plays Millie Bobby Brown’s father figure, Dr. Martin Brenner or “Papa,” on Stranger Things, took on the role of officiant at her wedding with Jake Bongiovi. On October 2nd, Jake shared a photo showing Matthew standing at the altar between the happy couple during their special day.

In the photo, Modine is depicted in a black coat over a white shirt, accompanied by black trousers for the special event. He towered under a grand floral arch, grinning while Bongiovi recited his vows. Jokingly commenting beneath the post, Modine asked, “Wow! Who’s the guy with a beard?” The Rockbottom actor shared several stunning pictures from the occasion, one of which captured the newlyweds smiling at the camera, with the Enola Holmes actress seated on an armchair and Bongiovi resting on its edge.

Another picture from the carousel captured the bride and groom kissing, one where the groom posed with his father and father-in-law, and last but the least, a black-and-white picture of him fixing his cuffs for his big day. “Forever and always, your husband,” Bongiovi wrote in his caption.

Brown posted a series of wedding photos, featuring beautiful shots of the couple, as well as one picture of the bride enjoying herself at the party, blowing bubbles while wearing her husband’s bowtie over a sleek silk minidress. The caption read, “Forever and always, my wife.

2021 saw whispers of a swift romance between Brown and Bonjovi, fueled by speculation that quickly spread like an uncontainable blaze. This was sparked when the latter shared a photo of them on Instagram with the caption “bff.” However, it became clear that their bond went beyond friendship as they were later spotted strolling hand-in-hand in New York City.
