As a long-time Marvel fan with memories of Spider-Man stretching back to the original comics, I must say that the rumors swirling around the upcoming Spider-Man 4 have me absolutely thrilled! The prospect of Knull making his big screen debut and potentially clashing with our friendly neighborhood Spiderman is nothing short of exhilarating.

The complexity of Spider-Man’s story among all MCU superheroes stems from the fact that Sony, not Marvel Studios, holds the rights to the character. This meant that initially, the Spider-Man films were not connected with the main MCU movies. However, when Tom Holland stepped into the role, a partnership between Sony and Marvel was formed, resulting in three films featuring the young actor as Spider-Man.

Despite limited details available so far regarding the forthcoming Spider-Man 4, as confirmed by Kevin Feige, there’s been plenty of chatter surrounding the film, with many theories linking it to the Venom series.

They have been growing based on whispers that Knull will make his screen debut, initially in a brief appearance, with further appearances to follow. Given the link between Symbiote stories and Spider-Man’s universe, it seems that people are trying to forge a connection between these two realms, hence the rumors stem from there.

It’s evident that Knull will encounter Spider-Man in some capacity, but it remains undecided whether this confrontation will take place in “Spider-Man 4” or if Knull will serve as the main antagonist for a different version of Spider-Man. You might recall that Andrew Garfield’s name was frequently mentioned as a potential Spider-Man within the Sony Universe.
