Overview
As a seasoned Brown Dust 2 player with countless hours spent battling fiends and competing in guild raids, I can’t help but feel my heart race at the prospect of these new collab units! Let me break down each one for you from the perspective of someone who’s been through the grind.
In this post, we are excited to announce that the first part of our collaborative units is now available! Take a peek at the sneak peeks below to aid your decision on which one to choose.
Gentle Destroyer Yomi
+5 full potential:
Very Front, 3×3 AOE
4 x 170% physical damage (6 SP, 3 CD)
- Obtainable to +5 for free simply by logging in and participating in event activities (thank you devs!)
- SR and UR exclusive gears also distributed for free via event activities (thank you devs!!)
- A great freebie for beginners, since you get access to a powerful +5 attacker, with UR exclusive weapon as well.
- SP cost is very high though, which makes her less suitable for long battles.
Kind Ruthlessness Hikage
+5 full potential:
Very Front, single target
12 x 90% physical damage (3 SP, 1 CD)
- High priority pull. The best single target destroyer.
- The only unit in the game to have a skill that does 12 hits. Excellent for Last Night and boss battles. Use with PWB.Refi for even higher chain damage amplification.
- Ridiculously high single target damage (1674% inc chain damage) with no cooldown.
- However we’ll need to see her offensive stats before we can know how good the damage really is.
Fist of Conviction Yozakura
+5 full potential:
Very Front, cross-shape AOE (front, left and right of target)
Triple your Magic damage. Your next basic attack deals 1200% more damage and boosts your Basic Attack for one additional attack within 4 seconds, cooldown of 3 seconds.
- Good costume, but uses are somewhat niche
- Unique gimmick of dealing high AOE damage on the skill turn, then high basic attack damage (single target) on the cooldown turn. Damage is very good on all turns.
- Good value, since she is kind of like having 2 costumes in one.
- However, the use case for her unique skill is somewhat niche. Not great for PVP since her cost is high. Not the most efficient for most fiend hunts/guild raids, where sustained AOE damage is usually preferred.
Dancing Snowflake Yumi
Skill preview
Full skill details are yet to be released, the above is a preview only.
- High priority pull. Excellent for long battles like fiend hunts and guild raids.
- Unique costume that grows in power over time. Initial damage is ok, but the burn damage grows each time you use the skill. No cooldown, so she can use her skill every turn to build up burn stacks.
- Preview stats indicate that she has lower than average base M.ATK but high base C.DMG (100%).
- Final skills and potential upgrades won’t be known until her banner is officially released.
