By late 1997, a rebellious teenage girl and her compact, sunshine-yellow robot companion embarked on a western journey across a bizarre American landscape. Remnants of colossal war machines lay scattered throughout the countryside, intermingled with the debris of a consumer society excessively reliant on a virtual reality system. As they drew nearer to the continent’s edge, the world outside their vehicle window appeared to be unraveling at an increasingly rapid pace, as though the heart of civilization beyond the horizon had collapsed.

In addition to Brown, a host of renowned personalities will be part of the cast for The Electric State. This includes Michelle Yeoh, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, and Jenny Slate, as reported by Deadline. It’s also been revealed that Chris Pratt will appear in the movie. Furthermore, Giancarlo Esposito, Ke Huy Quan, Anthony Mackie, and Billy Bob Thornton have signed up for voice acting roles.
