New DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Deleted Scene References Two Other MCU Films

As a seasoned gamer and Marvel Cinematic Universe aficionado who’s spent countless hours navigating the digital realms of superheroes, I must say that the latest development with Deadpool & Wolverine is nothing short of exhilarating! The release of this deleted scene is like finding a secret stash of Easter eggs in the game files.

Months following its debut, the movie “Deadpool & Wolverine” continues to create ripples. Now, it’s causing a stir due to a freshly unveiled deleted scene, intended to boost the digital and physical launch of the film. In this new clip, the beloved character Wade Wilson is seen poking fun at popular Marvel Cinematic Universe titles.

To build excitement for the imminent digital launch of “Deadpool & Wolverine“, Marvel Studios shared one of several cut scenes that will be included as extra features in the hardcopy versions. These physical copies will also feature extras such as director’s commentary and comedic outtakes. The hardcopies, available in 4K UHD Blu-ray, will be offered in two exclusive Steelbook editions – one themed around Deadpool and another themed around Wolverine.

In the omitted sequence, the character portrayed by Matthew Macfadyen, known as Paradox, escorts Ryan Reynolds’ character to the Time Variance Authority. Following his revival, Wilson steps into the lift.

Paradox informs Wilson, “It might astonish someone as self-centered and verbose as you that there are other universes besides yours, a concept I’m referring to as the multiverse.

An unseen segment titled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has been made available to the public.

In a clever retort, Wilson counters, “You truly believe I’m unfamiliar with Doctor Ant and his Quantumverse of Chaos?”, and the omitted segment concludes as Paradox shares additional details about multiple dimensions and the foreboding Sacred Timeline with Wilson.

It’s clear that the comment references the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” These movies delve deeply into the multiverse concept, playing significant roles in setting up and advancing the multiverse storyline. Notably, characters like Deadpool and Wolverine have made references to these films at various points. For instance, Deadpool uses Doctor Strange’s Sling Rings, and Ant-Man’s skeleton appears in the Void in one of their scenes.

On October 1st, I’ll be thrilled to share that Deadpool & Wolverine will hit digital platforms like Prime Video, Fandango, and Apple TV! If you prefer a physical copy, mark your calendars for October 22nd, when the film will be available.
