Timothée Chalamet recently shared a first look at Dune: Part Three on Instagram, giving fans a preview of the upcoming film. Chalamet stars as Paul Atreides, the central character in the story. The image shows Atreides wearing a black mask that obscures most of his face, with only his eyes and scars around them visible. These scars might hint at his increasing abilities. This new look is a significant change from his appearance in the previous film and has generated a lot of excitement among Dune fans.

Timothée Chalamet has been getting a lot of attention recently, both for his role in the new ping pong movie by Josh Safdie and for some controversial comments he made about ballet and opera. As House Atreides falls apart due to the schemes of its rivals, a different, more personal danger emerges for Paul – a threat that targets Chani, his lover, and their future child.

A new image from Dune: Part Three shows Timothée Chalamet returning as Paul Atreides. Zendaya will be back as Chani, and the film will also feature Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan and Anya Taylor-Joy as Paul’s sister, Alia. Jason Momoa and Rebecca Ferguson are also returning to their roles.

This is our first look at the next installment in Denis Villeneuve’s epic Dune saga. It’s getting us incredibly excited for the film! Dune: Part Three is currently scheduled for release on December 18, 2026 – the same day as the new Avengers movie. Some are already playfully calling it “Dunesday.” It’s unknown whether either film will change its release date, but if they both stay put, we could be in for another amazing double feature like Barbenheimer. This first image of Dune: Part Three definitely has us hyped!
