‘So Glad I Didn’t Go’: Jenny Mollen Reveals Rejecting Invite To Attend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Freak-Off Party

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but admire Jenny Mollen’s wisdom and foresight. If only she had known then what we know now about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, I shudder to think of the consequences! Her story about turning down his party invitation at 19, dressed in her “awful maroon shirt,” is a testament to her good judgment and self-preservation instincts.

Jenny Mollen is glad she didn’t go to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ party when she was 19, as he was later arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and facilitating prostitution, as stated in a federal indictment at the age of 54.

The actress shared an Instagram post detailing her encounter with the troubled hip-hop mogul who had invited her to a party, while news of his arrest was circulating. She stated, “I happened to be in San Diego, and this man approached me, saying his boss wanted to meet me,” further describing her attire as “a pair of ill-fitting jeans, slip-on shoes, and a cotton shirt in a brick shade of red.

Later on, Mollen stated that she met Combs, whom she described as having small hands similar to a 12-year-old’s and wearing a fur coat. Combs extended an invitation for both her and her companions to join him at a party in his private quarters.

In a subsequent statement, the actress expresses relief by saying, “Folks, if this script had been about an unexpected encounter, would I have wound up in trouble? The title they’re using is ‘freak-off.’ Would my unlucky maroon shirt have led me to his room? Is there still a video of me behaving impulsively and wildly as if I were involved in such an incident? Thank goodness I didn’t attend.

For several decades, the prosecution claims that the rapper allegedly mistreated, intimidated, and manipulated both women and those in his close circle, primarily to fulfill his sexual urges, maintain his public image, and conceal his actions.

The district attorney’s office alleges that the rapper has consistently mistreated, intimidated, and manipulated women and those close to him, using such actions to satisfy his sexual needs, preserve his public image, and hide his behavior for numerous years. If convicted, Combs faces three felony charges and a minimum prison sentence of 15 years.

In my professional perspective, after two refusals for bail and a ‘not guilty’ plea, he is now confined at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. To clarify, as I shared earlier with PEOPLE, he is being managed similarly to any other detainee awaiting trial.
