Where Winds Meet sets release date for chapter two of its massive Hexi expansion

If you love playing Where Winds Meet, the popular wuxia action-RPG, you’ve probably been enjoying all the recent updates. Great news for those waiting for the next part of the Hexi story – chapter two is coming out on April 2nd!

The Hexi expansion moves the game’s setting from the familiar landscapes of central China – its mountains, valleys, forests, and fields – to the remote frontier province of Hexi. Players will now explore the towering mountains and settlements of Liangzhou, a stark contrast to the deserts and ruins of the previous Jianghu region.

The game’s story continues with “Liangzhou Melody” and “Paper Moon,” where you’ll help a musician missing home and resolve a dispute at a Buddhist temple. These stories offer a fascinating look at a difficult period in Chinese history, allowing you to experience it directly.

, new areas to explore mean sharper tactics and weapons are needed. This chapter is set to introduce the new Raging Tides martial-arts sect, alongside the latest weapon in the form of the Heng Blade.

This new weapon has been meticulously designed, with even the movements carefully crafted under the guidance of renowned Hong Kong film choreographer Stephen Tung Wai, known for his work on classics like John Woo’s Hard Boiled.
