What Led to Wanda’s Dead Body Appearing in Westview in ‘Agatha All Along’?

As a die-hard Marvel fan with over two decades of comic book history under my belt, I must say that Agatha All Along has truly captivated me! The intricate storytelling and clever twists have kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly awaiting each new episode.

Just finished binging the initial episodes of “Agatha All Along” – wow, what a ride! Ever since my magical confinement ended in the aftermath of the events depicted in “WandaVision”, I’ve been eagerly waiting to share my story. The response from viewers has been astounding, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!

Back in Westview, Agatha is left without any power, leading her to gather a group of witches informally to traverse the Witches’ Path and regain her magical skills.

Intriguingly hinted at in the trailers, the series opens with Agatha pretending to be a detective examining a corpse. This body is suggested to be that of Wanda, or Scarlet Witch, who met her end during the occurrences depicted in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In the film, Scarlet Witch employs her abilities to obliterate Mount Wundagore and every version of the Darkhold existing throughout the multiverse. This self-sacrificing act was the means by which she accomplished this.

In the character of Agatha All Along, the injuries mirror what Wanda might have inflicted upon herself in her state of grief. This implies that a fragment of Wanda’s demise may have seeped into Agatha’s confinement.

Indeed, it’s evident that Wanda’s physical presence isn’t in Westview; instead, it appears to be a creation of Agatha’s mind. This revelation unfolded towards the end of the episode. Moreover, Agatha seems oblivious to the fact that Wanda’s fingertips have darkened due to her use of the Darkhold, and her attire has undergone a significant change.

It’s probable that Wanda’s physical self is hidden beneath the massive debris on Mount Wundagore, which means it’s illogical for Agatha to know that Wanda has passed away, given her current circumstances.

Two plausible theories could be why Agatha suddenly appears linked with Wanda, and how she seems to possess knowledge that appears beyond the scope of normal human understanding.

Initially, it seems plausible that because Agatha was under Wanda’s enchantment, the same spell might have enabled her to perceive that the original sorceress had passed away – possibly through illusions – which coincided with her release from captivity. However, this creates a temporal conundrum since Wanda’s demise happened many years before Agatha was set free.

From my perspective as a gamer, it seems like there’s a theory floating around that this kid character might be hiding some secrets. His depiction of Wanda’s lifeless body could be a clever move to taunt Agatha, perhaps with the intention of freeing her from the spell later on. Maybe he already knows about his own origins and Agatha’s role in driving Wanda towards darkness. It’s also possible that he let Agatha slip away so she could guide him along the Witches’ Path, hoping she’d help bring Wanda back to life.
