According to EW, the actress who played Percy explained to Lovato that Cher had mentored her, and she understood that sometimes it can be unclear about certain happenings off-screen – like power struggles or other challenges.
Ricci pointed out that without prior experience, one might mistakenly assume these problems could be their own fault. However, her fellow actor always aimed to make her feel secure rather than insecure.

She shared that she would frequently escape from tutoring sessions to spend time with Cher in her trailer and indulge in sweets.
