As a longtime Marvel fan who has followed the intricate web of their stories since the early days, I must say that this new theory about the Fantastic Four setting in the same universe as the Kang variants is nothing short of brilliant! The idea of Galactus devouring all the Kangs in one swift move not only establishes him as a formidable threat but also neatly ties up any lingering Kang storylines.

Remind me if you recall Jonathan Majors, the talented actor who was set to embody Kang within the MCU and potentially be the “next Thanos” for the series? Regrettably, it has come to light that he physically assaulted his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Consequently, he received a sentence of 52 weeks in a domestic violence intervention program in person, and his career seems to have suffered significantly as a result.

Apart from being let go as Kang in the MCU and the studio searching for a new actor to fill the role, his character was essentially erased from the narrative and replaced by Victor Von Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., who is rejoining the MCU. Interestingly, while audiences might not be lamenting Majors’ departure, the loss of Kang poses a significant issue.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe had been constructing its narratives towards a major showdown between the Avengers and Kang, but this confrontation has either been delayed or abandoned, leaving the MCU in a predicament – how to handle Kang, given that he’s appeared in multiple projects. Keep in mind that the TVA was constructed in a higher dimensional perspective, allowing them to visualize the timelines as interwoven strands or threads.

I’m convinced that the role of Kang will be recast, which seems to have been Marvel’s intention from the start. As far as I’m concerned, Kang has always been an ally of Doom, even though he hasn’t appeared on screen yet. I find it hard to believe that they would use magic to make Kang disappear instead.
