As a long-time admirer of the silver screen and stage, I must say that my recent experience working with Nicole Kidman in The Perfect Couple has been nothing short of extraordinary. The grace, elegance, and authority she exudes on set are truly unparalleled. I’ve worked with some talented actors in my time, but none have left me as surprised and enriched as Ms. Kidman.
Liev Schreier expresses admiration for Nicole Kidman following their collaboration on the Netflix series “The Perfect Couple.” Post the show’s acclaim, Schreier shared insights into his on-set camaraderie with the renowned actress, who also appeared in “Big Little Lies.
On Sirius XM’s The Jess Cagle show, the actor openly shared that there hasn’t been another actress who carries herself with as much elegance as she does.
Schreiber claimed, “I got things from Nicole Kidman that I had no idea existed.”
He further added that Kidman “really exudes grace and elegance and authority and all these things.” The Ray Donovan actor went on to joke, “I’m here to tell you that I have never met anyone so quick to be inappropriate on a set than Nicole.”
Regarding his character in the series, Schreiber assumed the part of Tag Winbury, who was married to Nicole Kidman’s Greer Garison. The plotline of this show is adapted from Elin Hilderbrand’s book with the same title. Interestingly, before the casting for the show began, the novel’s author expressed a desire for the character of Tag to be portrayed by Schreiber himself.
During their chat, the Scream actor excitedly praised his co-star, Kidman. He shared that she was constantly coming up with some truly amazing ideas. (Hollywood star’s actual words: “She was just coming up with some of the biggest doozies.”)
