Frankie Muniz Sneaks Away from Family in Hilarious ‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ Trailer

Hulu just released the trailer for Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, giving fans their first glimpse of Frankie Muniz returning as Malcolm. The new show reveals Malcolm has been living independently and avoiding his famously chaotic family for several years.

The trailer shows Muniz’s character having a good life after distancing himself from his family, but something major happens that makes him reconnect with them. His teenage daughter, Leah (played by Keeley Karsten), and his girlfriend, Tristan (played by Kiana Madeira), convince him to attend his parents’ 40th-anniversary celebration, bringing him back into the family.

The show’s return features many of the original cast members. Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek are back as Hal and Lois, while Christopher Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado reprise their roles as Francis, Reese, and Piama. A new actor, Caleb Ellsworth-Clark, will be playing Dewey, taking over from Erik Per Sullivan. Vaughan Murrae joins the cast as Malcolm’s youngest sibling, Kelly.

Get ready to revisit the Reese family! The special four-part event, #MalcolmInTheMiddle: Life’s Still Unfair, starts streaming on Hulu and Disney+ on April 10th.

Starting April 10th, you can stream all four episodes of Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair on both Hulu and Hulu with Disney+. Plus, all 151 episodes of the original Malcolm in the Middle series are also available on Disney+ and Hulu.

Muniz shared that he’s excited to see how Malcolm has matured and believes the show’s return will deliver the same funny and touching moments fans enjoyed originally.
