Jensen Ackles Celebrates Final Day on ‘Vought Rising’ with Behind-the-Scenes Video

Jensen Ackles, known for his role in Supernatural, has announced that filming for the first season of Vought Rising, the new series connected to The Boys, is complete. He shared a video on Instagram showing him getting into his Soldier Boy costume – a process that takes the help of three to five people – and confirmed it was the last day of shooting.

He celebrated the project’s completion with enthusiasm, calling it an incredible experience. He expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew for their dedication and hard work, playfully calling them ‘a bunch of psychos’ as a term of endearment. He also tagged the official accounts for Prime Video, Sony Pictures Television, The Boys TV series, and Vought Rising.

While there’s no confirmed release date for Vought Rising yet, it’s likely to come out after Season 5 of The Boys. The first two episodes of Season 5 will premiere on April 8th on Prime Video, with new episodes dropping each week until the season finale on May 20th.

Fans are particularly thrilled about the new season because of its ties to the popular show Supernatural. The creator of Supernatural, Eric Kripke, is also behind this series, and the upcoming season is being seen as a get-together for many of the original Supernatural actors. Jensen Ackles will return as Soldier Boy, and he’ll be joined by his former co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, who played Sam Winchester and Castiel respectively, alongside Ackles’ Dean Winchester.

Though it’s not a continuation of Supernatural, many fans are thrilled about this project as the next best thing to a reunion. People are especially excited to see Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins together again, and to experience their familiar chemistry in a fresh story and setting.

Vought Rising will tell the origin story of Soldier Boy, continuing the darkly comedic tone of The Boys. With Jensen Ackles reprising his role and ties to his previous show, Supernatural, this spinoff is generating a lot of buzz.

Jared Padalecki’s Instagram post offered fans a look at the work and detail that goes into making the Soldier Boy character. Even the costume needs a team of people to create, showing how much effort and dedication the show’s production involves.

Fans are getting even more excited about the world of The Boys! With the last season of the original show coming out shortly and a new series, Vought Rising, planned for the future, the next few months promise plenty of action-packed, darkly funny content featuring characters we already know and love.

Jensen Ackles and the cast are really looking forward to sharing the new show with fans. Combining familiar faces from Supernatural with the world of The Boys has led to a lot of anticipation for a story that will be funny, exciting, and full of action.

Bringing actors from Supernatural into The Boys is a really smart idea. It gives fans a fun throwback seeing Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Jim Beaver reunite, all while offering exciting and new storylines. I’m especially interested to see what happens with Soldier Boy and how his story connects to the bigger picture in The Boys.
