Fan Theory Suggests ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is Already Linked to ‘Spider-Man 4’ – Here’s the Why

As a long-time gamer and comic book enthusiast who’s seen more than his fair share of cinematic universes rise and fall, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation when it comes to ‘Venom: The Last Dance.’ Sony’s handling of Marvel characters has been hit-or-miss, to say the least. But with Knull as the main antagonist and Symbiotes swarming Earth, I’m hoping for a grand, epic conclusion that does justice to these iconic villains.

Just caught a glimpse of the fresh trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ and it looks like we’ll be facing off against Knull, the King in Black. Excited? Yeah, me too… but also a bit apprehensive considering Sony’s history with Marvel characters lately. Fingers crossed they nail this one!

In my gaming world, the plot of ‘The Last Dance’ isn’t overly complex: Hordes of these Symbiotes are turning up on our planet, and it looks like they’re running away from something – or someone – pretty formidable. That someone appears to be Knull.

Indeed, it appears inevitable that Venom and Eddie must face off against Knull, although such an encounter seems unlikely, considering Knull’s status as a multiversal threat, on par with the Avengers. A solitary Symbiote like Venom, or even a hive, would seem insufficient to vanquish such a formidable adversary.

In ‘The Last Dance’, the closing chapter of the trilogy, speculation abounds about the possible demise of Hardy’s Eddie Brock in the movie. On the other hand, whispers hint that Venom might join the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Knull, implying that ‘The Last Dance’ may not be the sole outing for the character.

Both theories have merit when viewed selectively, but industry insider Daniel Richtman recently highlighted an intriguing detail: the trailer does not show Venom or Eddie in New York, despite the actor reportedly filming reshoots there.

It struck me that none of the Venom 3 trailer scenes showed him in New York City. However, they’ve recently done reshoots there… hmm, that’s intriguing.

As I swing through the concrete jungle of New York, it’s no secret I’m the city’s top protector – Spider-Man. And let’s face it, my history with Venom has always been a hot topic among fans. So when Tom Hardy was spotted around town recently, people started buzzing about him filming a post-credit scene for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man 4.’ Could this mean a direct tie-in between our stories? Only time will tell!

Post credit scene of him in MCU NYC

I’m assuming it will be a mid or post credits scene with Spiderman.

The question is who?

I’m looking forward to seeing Venom back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe again. Here’s hoping they develop his character more this time around. It would be fantastic if he’s trapped in New York City and plays a significant role in Spider-Man 4, which seems to imply a grounded storyline with some multiverse aspects.

post-credit scene connecting with Spider-Man 4!

As a gamer, I’ve learned to expect surprises, and it seems that’s what we might be dealing with here. The trailer for ‘The Last Dance’ doesn’t appear to show every location featured in the movie. After all, New York is on the list of filming locations according to IMDb, so there could be scenes set in the Big Apple that were left out of the sneak peek.

Alternatively, this might fuel the whispers about Venom appearing in the MCU and clear up the confusion surrounding the post-credits scene, which became even more intricate following the debut of the first ‘The Last Dance’ trailer.
