As someone who’s spent countless sleepless nights immersed in the dark corners of small towns, I can hardly contain my excitement.

The long-awaited cinematic adaptation of Stephen King’s chilling tale, Salem’s Lot, is nearly here on Max. Prepare yourself for a harrowing journey to Jerusalem’s Lot where the supernatural presence of vampires looms large. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the trailer and release date, and now that it’s here, we can hardly contain our excitement to witness Lewis Pullman’s portrayal of Ben Mears.

The clip gives us everything we’d expect: attempts to control demons with crosses, bloody shirts, writing bodies, and all-around terror. I’ve long maintained that small towns are the scariest places on Earth and that’s true here. Just imagine going home to spark your creativity only to find yourself in the middle of a real life horror situation. Sucks to be Ben.
