When Danny uses one of Rick’s songs to launch his comeback, Rick feels overlooked and determined to get the credit he thinks he’s earned – even if it means jeopardizing his relationships. Directed by John Carney (known for films like Sing Street and Once), Power Ballad is a heartwarming story about music, self-worth, friendship, and the pursuit of dreams.
The new film, Power Ballad, explores the complications that can come with following your dreams, as its tagline, “Some songs come with strings attached,” suggests.
