Actor Mickey Rourke, known for his long and successful career in tough roles, is facing a difficult situation. A Los Angeles court has finalized his eviction from his Beverly Grove home.
The judge ruled in favor of his landlord, Eric Goldie, because Rourke didn’t respond to a lawsuit over $59,000 in unpaid rent.
This ends a public dispute that has been ongoing for months. Rourke has stated he stopped paying rent due to problems with the condition of his living space.

The actor said he didn’t decide to stop paying rent easily. He explained that after repeated attempts to get repairs, he couldn’t continue paying for a house in such bad condition. His representatives added that the property had serious problems like water damage, black mold, and ongoing pest infestations, making it impossible to live in.
Things got more complicated when a GoFundMe campaign, started by Mickey Rourke’s team to help with his housing, received strong criticism from the actor himself.
After fans donated over $100,000, Rourke publicly disapproved of the fundraiser, calling it “humiliating” and stating he hadn’t given permission for it.
His manager, Kimberly Hines, explained the campaign was meant to help him keep his home, but Rourke was firm that he wouldn’t accept charity.
