As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast who has navigated countless virtual universes and alternate realities, I can confidently say that Marvel’s Multiverse Saga has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. From the Infinity Saga’s grandeur to the current Multiverse Saga’s intricate web of stories, it’s been a journey that’s kept me on the edge of my seat.
Initially, when American comic books first emerged at the start of the 20th century, there was just a single storyline and a solitary fictional world. For many years, this remained consistent. However, publishers eventually started providing us with what they called alternative tales, thus leading to the development of the idea known as the Multiverse. This concept has since grown in popularity beyond comic books and is now a common element in superhero films.
In simpler terms, the concept of the Multiverse can be quite confusing, even for the characters within it. As per the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the fabric of a single reality started unraveling towards the end of the Infinity War storyline. This marked the beginning of the current phase in the MCU, known as the Multiverse Saga.
It appears that The Multiverse Saga hasn’t been performing as expected, but Marvel is optimistic that upcoming events like “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars” will create a grand spectacle to transition us into the next phase. However, one might wonder when the Multiverse Saga will officially conclude. Perhaps a Marvel producer has some insight on this!
Brad Winderbaum is one of the key people in Marvel, as he is the current Head of Streaming, Television and Animation and a former Vice President of Production and Development. He is also the executive producer of Agatha All Along, and he recently sat down for a talk with out goof friends at Screen Rant, revealing some interesting details about the series, as well as the current and future state of the MCU.
One of the queries posed was about the Multiverse Saga timeline, as the team from Screen Rant were curious to find out when this saga might conclude according to Marvel’s existing blueprint.
It’s intriguing that you mentioned Ghost Rider… Just throwing it out there! As for the upcoming events in Phase 6, The Multiverse Saga is nearing its conclusion. With only three years until Avengers: Secret Wars, which seems to be the final chapter, I wonder how many more surprises are left to unveil?
Brad Winderbaum: I believe Secret Wars will serve as an extraordinary conclusion to the storyline, making the entire journey seem meaningful and significant.

It’s apparent that many of you were likely correct in predicting that the Secret Wars would mark the end of the Multiverse Saga. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is gearing up for a monumental confrontation, and if past trends are any indication, we’re in store for an epic battle that will significantly shape the MCU’s future. We don’t know exactly what lies ahead, but we can’t wait to discover it!
