‘It’s In The Bag’: Liam Gallagher Hints At Oasis Reunion and New Album Ahead Of 2025 Tour

As a lifelong music enthusiast who grew up with Oasis being a staple of my teenage years, the news of a potential new album from the Gallagher brothers has me absolutely thrilled! The thought of hearing fresh tunes from the band that provided the soundtrack to my youth is beyond exciting.

Liam Gallagher hinted at a potential new Oasis album after the unveiling of their Reunion Tour. Both he and his sibling Noel Gallagher have verified that they’ve completed work on the upcoming album.

It was revealed that the Gallagher brothers are planning to get back together in 2025 for their famous Brit-pop band, Oasis. This has led people to speculate that the group may create new music since they haven’t been together for a while.

On platform X (previously known as Twitter), a supporter asked if there was any truth to the gossip that Liam and Noel Gallagher were planning to produce an album along with tour arrangements. The reply to this question surfaced on the 6th of September.

Based on Noel Gallagher’s response, it appears that the album is completed. In response to a fan, he said, “Consider it done, old chap – forget about waiting.” To further clarify, when asked again, he confirmed that the new album is not just an idea but a tangible reality. He also referred to the album as “TURDOS”.

It’s not the first occasion where remarks from a Gallagher brother have suggested a potential return to the studio. Earlier this year, Liam subtly hinted on X-factor that such a project was in development. This speculation surfaced concurrently with Noel Gallagher abandoning his plans for a solo acoustic album and instead focusing on a heavier rock venture.

In October 2008, the band released their fourth and last studio album, titled Dig Out Your Soul. This album did reasonably well on the charts, reaching the fifth spot on the Billboard 200. Unfortunately, since then, there has been a prolonged absence of new music from the band, leaving fans eagerly waiting for more.

On August 27th, it was confirmed that Oasis will embark on a tour starting in 2025. The tour schedule includes performances in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. These shows will mark the band’s only concerts within Europe for that year. Moreover, the Gallagher brothers hinted at even larger plans for later international reunion tours, suggesting their reunion concert plan spans beyond Europe to other continents as well.

Despite the fact that the band’s music was extremely popular, with every fan knowing their songs by heart, Oasis discontinued creating music after 2009. Their split was mainly due to a public feud between Noel and Liam Gallagher, which was widely reported in British tabloids.
