‘I’m Dead’: YouTuber Paul Harrell Pre-Recorded Video Of His Own Death From Pancreatic Cancer At 58

As a dedicated follower and admirer of Paul Harrell‘s work, I find myself deeply moved by his recent announcement about his battle with pancreatic cancer. His courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication to his craft are truly inspiring. Although I am saddened by the news of his impending passing, I can’t help but appreciate the legacy he leaves behind – a wealth of knowledge, entertainment, and camaraderie that will continue to resonate with his audience for years to come.

YouTube personality Paul Harrell shares a heartfelt message in a pre-recorded video on his channel, disclosing that he has lost his battle against pancreatic cancer at the age of 58. In this video, he suggests that if his viewers are watching it, then it’s possible he may have already passed away. He explains that the cancer had progressed to his bones, leaving him with a limited time left to live.

The YouTuber indicated that the illness spread more quickly than he had initially anticipated. As per the accounts, upon his demise, the video was entrusted to his manager for release at a later time.

In the video, Harrell made clear that he was recording and directing his manager, Brad Nelson, to release it after his death. So, if you’re seeing this video now, then unfortunately, Harrell has passed away.

He went on to say, “A few months back, I was sitting right here on this log, and shared with you that I’d been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I mentioned that they had caught it early and we would spend some time together. As it turns out, while they did catch it early, it wasn’t as early as I had initially believed.”

The YouTuber went on to reveal, “My time is drawing short.”

Harrell suffered a hip break, and the bones were deteriorating because of his diagnosis. He mentioned that he filmed the video while working with the content creator, using a cane for support.

Harrell managed a YouTube platform that demonstrated the mechanisms of guns and firearm safety. This platform boasted approximately 1.2 million subscribers. In his farewell video, the content creator expressed regret to his audience for discontinuing both the channel and the enjoyment it provided them.

Harrell admitted, “The reason behind everything I did was mainly twofold: enjoyment and sharing information, whether it’s useful or simply intriguing. I hope, as you watch me, you’ve found some moments that left you thinking, ‘Ah, now I understand, got it.'”

In the video, the creator expressed his intention to keep using the same style for another decade or so. Even after receiving a cancer diagnosis, he remained hopeful that he had at least 2 to 3 more years ahead. By the conclusion of the video, it was clear that emotions were running high.

Harrell summarized his thoughts as follows: “In essence, I’m truly grateful for the chance to experience everything we accomplished together.” He further expressed, “I sincerely hope it was beneficial to you, and I can’t help but express my gratitude for your attention, comments, and engagement. I must admit, I have few, if any, regrets about what we achieved here.”

In the video’s conclusion, Paul Harrell’s brother announced that Paul had passed away, expressing deep sadness by stating he was “devastated” about his brother’s demise. At the time of his passing, the YouTube personality was 58 years old.
