I was so charmed to see Sylvester Stallone, even at 79, still being a total romantic! He seemed to whisk his wife, Jennifer Flavin, away on a surprise trip to Italy, and everyone was so excited. It turns out it was all a fun setup – they were actually filming a scene for the new season of his show, Tulsa King, right here in Georgia! He really got us all with that one!
The film crew recreated a charming European village on a Georgia set, complete with cobblestone streets, old-fashioned shops, and winding paths.
Wearing a stylish blue striped suit, Stallone playfully told his wife he was planning a long trip to Italy for them. Flavin laughed, enjoying the moment as Stallone took in the impressive set around them. “They really did a fantastic job, didn’t they?” he said, then jokingly suggested, “How about we go find some gelato?”
Okay, so this is pretty cool. Apparently, Sylvester Stallone whisked his wife, Jennifer Flavin, away on a little ‘Italian’ getaway… but here’s the twist – it was all happening right on the set of his show, ‘Tulsa King,’ which they’d completely transformed to look like Italy! Tulsa King remains popular, with Sylvester Stallone playing Dwight Manfredi, a mob boss who’s starting over in Oklahoma and trying to rebuild his criminal organization. The show is being filmed in various spots around Georgia, including Atlanta and Winder, which was used to create a scene meant to look like Italy.
Beyond his work on television, Sylvester Stallone has been developing new projects. One of these is a prequel to the Rambo films, showing the beginning of the character’s story before the events of First Blood. The film will star Noah Centineo as a young Rambo, with Stallone serving as an executive producer. Stallone explained, “Rambo has been a big part of my life, and now we’re going back to tell how it all began.”
Sylvester Stallone is leading the upcoming crime thriller, The Epiphany, directed by William Eubank. He plays a Philadelphia detective nearing retirement who partners with a young officer and a former priest to hunt down a serial killer.
Even as he nears eighty, Sylvester Stallone continues to impress with projects like Tulsa King, his reality show, and several films, demonstrating his enduring energy and charisma. His lighthearted scenes filmed in Georgia showcase a rare ability to blend humor, romance, and action – a skill that sets him apart in Hollywood.
