The SnyderVerse return just got another major boost.
The potential deal between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery is becoming more complicated, with increased interest from Saudi Arabia. Plus, China’s Tencent – a major gaming and social media company – is now also being considered as a possible partner.
Put it all together, and it looks like more good news for the SnyderVerse.

China’s Tencent Is Back In As Saudi Role Gets Bigger
According to Bloomberg, Tencent is planning to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery through Paramount Skydance. Tencent had initially paused its involvement due to concerns about foreign investment, but is now re-engaging as a financial investor.

What it means for the SnyderVerse return
The Saudis and China both have a history of backing Zack Snyder.
We’ve already discussed how money connected to Saudi Arabia was involved in Warner Bros. Discovery’s efforts with Paramount. It now seems that involvement is increasing.
Tencent’s involvement is particularly noteworthy given Zack Snyder’s popularity in international markets, especially China – a point my sources have repeatedly emphasized. It’s also worth remembering that the fan who initially launched the campaign for the ‘Snyder Cut’ was based in China.
Tencent Pictures helped produce the 2017 film Wonder Woman, which originated from a story by Zack Snyder. Zack and Deborah Snyder produced the film, and sources indicate Zack also directed some scenes.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League was also released on Tencent’s streaming platform in China.

Why this looks good for the SnyderVerse
Although there’s been no official confirmation, it’s becoming increasingly clear what’s going to happen.
Reports suggest Saudi investors were already financially backing the project, and they have a good relationship with Snyder. They’re also said to be fans of Zack’s filmmaking style and are interested in creating a large-scale cinematic universe comparable to Marvel’s.
People are now openly discussing the possibility that their impact could be larger than originally thought.
China’s Tencent is back in as well, where again the SnyderVerse has been big in the Middle Kingdom.
Considering Saudi investment and Tencent’s participation, it seems there’s growing support for bringing back the SnyderVerse.
We’ve been told it’s fully back in play, and Zack is gung-ho about the return.
