With less than two weeks until the release of Agatha All Along, the upcoming MCU series centered on Agatha Harkness, fans are eagerly anticipating its debut. After being freed from her prison by a spell from the Scarlet Witch, Agatha returns without her powers. To reclaim her strength, she must assemble a makeshift coven of witches willing to follow the Witches Road.
The show boasts an intriguing premise and an impressive cast. Kathryn Hahn stars as Agatha Harkness, with Joe Locke as Billy Kaplan and Sasheer Zamata as Jennifer Kale. Ali Ahn will portray Alice Wu-Gulliver, while Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, and Okwui Okpokwasili are cast in roles yet to be announced. Additionally, Debra Jo Rupp will appear as Sharon Davis, Patti LuPone as Lilia Calderu, and Aubrey Plaza as Rio Vidal/Green Witch.
Right now, the show is heavily promoting itself with a broad promotional strategy. Recently, actress Aubrey Plaza, portraying character Rio Vidal, has given some behind-the-scenes details about her on-screen bond with Agatha within the series.

This situation has sparked much debate among fans, leaving them curious if there was a previous romantic bond between these two witches, possibly severed due to some horrific event connected to Agatha’s pursuit of power.
Kathryn Hahn also confirmed this “charged” dynamic in an interview with TV Line:
it felt super-charged every time we were doing any scenes together, which was thrilling.
Should it be revealed that they were once romantic partners, they would align with Joe Locke’s character, further expanding the representation of LGBTQ+ characters within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
