Timothée Chalamet posted photos from his trip to Japan on Instagram, playfully captioning them, “How are you going to go to Japan and not film anything?” He was in Tokyo to watch the World Baseball Classic, where he saw Japan defeat Chinese Taipei 13-0 in a game that was stopped early due to a mercy rule.
Timothée Chalamet was accompanied at the event by musician Bad Bunny and director Josh Safdie, who previously worked with Chalamet on the Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme. Bad Bunny recently performed at the Super Bowl LX halftime show, which Sportsnet reports was the fourth most-watched in Super Bowl history.
Both star players witnessed Shohei Ohtani hit a grand slam in the second inning. Japan scored ten of their thirteen total runs during that inning, which secured the win for pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

As a big Timothée Chalamet fan, I loved seeing his recent photos from Japan! It looked like the perfect mix of relaxation and fun with friends, and that baseball game seemed incredible. What really got me was his Instagram caption – it felt so genuine and showed he was truly enjoying the experience. It’s always cool to see celebrities just letting loose and having a good time.
