Explaining the Beef Between Olivia Plath and Moriah as the Latter Apologizes in the New Sneak Peak of Welcome to Plathville

As a long-time fan of the dynamic Plath family, I must say this recent turn of events has left me both intrigued and a tad disappointed. The dance between Moriah and Olivia, two sisters who once shared a bond as strong as a Plath patriarch’s beard, is now filled with misunderstandings, apologies, and suspicions that would make even the most seasoned Plath matriarch raise an eyebrow.

Previously, Moriah Plath alleged that Olivia Plath had posted her music on Olivia’s account and then swiftly deleted it to gain profits. Olivia disputed this allegation in court, while Moriah earlier confirmed its veracity. However, Moriah later retracted her statement and expressed regret for concocting the tale about Olivia stealing her music.

“Moriah apologized for creating a tale about taking my music and sharing it with others, which she had spread around.”

Olivia admitted that the apology proved helpful, yet she believed it was essential for Moriah to have that reflective discussion with herself.

“Olivia said, ‘I believe she required this discussion to perhaps find acceptance within herself.'”

Moriah’s quick tendency to spread rumors made Olivia feel they didn’t trust her, and this insight led Olivia to ponder deeply about whether or not she wished to carry on conversing with the entire Plath clan.

She made it clear that she doesn’t require such discussions for reaching a conclusion, instead, she feels these issues ought to be handled personally.

Moriah concurred, expressing that should she feel angry in the future, she no longer wishes to cause public distress to anyone.

“Moriah expressed that she doesn’t feel the need for those discussions, as she’s finding her own resolution. She believes all the issues involved should have been handled in a private manner.”

She stated, “Even when I’m upset with a circumstance, I always aim not to put someone else through such a situation, particularly in public.”

Olivia found it hard to quickly forgive Moriah’s apology. Instead, she voiced her reservations, pointing out that the timing of the apology appeared odd since it happened when Moriah was launching new music.

As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but notice the coincidence – you’re dropping a track this week, and it seems uncannily like it was penned with me in mind. It’s almost surreal, given we’re having this conversation just before your song, which feels like my very own ‘Burn Book’, is set to be unveiled.

Olivia noted that it felt awkward for Moriah’s apology to be given right before the launch of a song apparently about her, and Moriah seemed hesitant in finding an appropriate response.

Moriah is looking to express her regret for her previous actions towards Olivia Plath, however, Olivia hasn’t quite reached a point where she’s prepared to forgive just yet.

Prepare yourself for the next installment of Welcome to Plathville, where Moriah and Olivia will have their first confrontation since Olivia and Ethan’s split. Their previous interaction left a bitter taste, and Olivia shares her reasons for finding Moriah’s general apology for past events insufficient in addressing their issues.

Inside the confession booth, Olivia voices her perplexity about Moriah’s vague apology. She yearns for Moriah to acknowledge that Ethan had an opportunity to clarify the true situation, and that Moriah should have apologized for defending Olivia when she was speaking the truth.

Olivia expressed her difficulty responding to Moriah’s apology as it lacked specificity. She suggested that if Moriah were to be more precise with her words, such as acknowledging Ethan’s truth-telling and apologizing for calling Olivia a liar in front of everyone, it would make her response more satisfying.

New episodes of Welcome to Plathville start airing on Tuesday, August 6, on TLC.
