As a lifestyle expert with a penchant for pop culture and a deep appreciation for both Emma Roberts and Britney Spears, I must say that the idea of Roberts playing Spears in a biopic is not only intriguing but also seems incredibly fitting. Roberts’ confession about being a die-hard Spears fan, from locking herself in her room to memorize every word of her songs, adds a personal touch to this potential collaboration.
Emma Roberts has been reported as contending for the main character in a biographical film about Britney Spears. However, it’s worth noting that Roberts herself has stated that these rumors are not accurate.
As a devoted fan and follower speaking about my chat with Cosmo, the Holidate star shared her coveted acting role aspiration: portraying the iconic figure of Britney Spears. This intriguing tidbit emerged following claims that the assistant to the singer acknowledged her impressive readiness for such a role.
During a conversation with an entertainment platform, the actress revealed that as a young girl, she often played Britney Spears’ music to create a personal space in her room, adding humorously, “I thought I loved Britney Spears’ assistant.”
As a lifestyle expert, allow me to share a personal aspiration of mine: “Ever since I was captivated by Britney Spears’ music, particularly ‘In the Zone’, it’s been a secret dream of mine to embody her on stage. It’s just a rumor for now, but I can only hope that one day this dream becomes a reality. You might remember me locking myself away in my room, completely immersed, determined to memorize every single word from that album before I was ready to step out again.”
In a casual manner, the actress who plays Madame Web mentioned that she often sang Britney Spears’ songs to her son during bath time. She joked, “I mean, I always sing Britney to my son in the bath. I sometimes think he must find me quite peculiar. That’s some millennial parenting right there.”
Growing up, the long-term aide of the famous singer with a toxic reputation admired Roberts’ fame following her appearances on Disney programs like The All New Mickey Mouse Club and Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous.
According to Spears’ personal aide, Culotta, she believes that Timothée Chalamet might be suitable for portraying Justin Timberlake, her former partner, in a potential production. Additionally, she suggests that Drew Barrymore could convincingly take on the role of an assistant.
Currently in terms of work, Spears recently revealed that she is teaming up with Platt for a new collaboration. On her X account, the artist expressed, “I’m thrilled to inform my fans that I’ve been secretly working on a project with #MarcPlatt. He has always created my favorite films… keep an eye out.”
Regarding “The Woman In Me,” the memoir of the singer, it held the top spot on bestseller lists and was deemed a New York Times bestseller. This book offers insights into Britney’s life, from her early years in Mississippi to Louisiana, and chronicles her rise as a singer, marked by the release of her first studio album in 1999.
