SZA Admits ‘Struggling’ With Math While Assisting Fan With Geometry Homework: ‘I’m A Math Dummy’

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but admire SZA’s authenticity and resilience, which shines through in every aspect of her life. From her raw talent to her candid conversations, she embodies the essence of being human – imperfect yet extraordinary.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to emphasize that no one is flawless in this world – we all have our quirks and imperfections. Even the most admired celebrities, such as the talented Solána Imani Rowe, better known as SZA, are not exceptions. Recently, she humorously confessed her struggle with math during an engaging chat with a fan on Instagram, which she generously shared with her followers via her Instagram Stories – proving that even stars can be math dummies just like the rest of us!

In the screenshot posted by the Grammy winner, she was responding to a fan who had privately messaged her for assistance with a Geometry issue. The fan’s message read, “Hey Sza, I’m struggling with Geometry. Can you provide some math tips?” on the social media app.

The singer replied with a chuckle, “Ma’am, I’m as dumb as they come when it comes to math,” before inquiring for more details. SZA then clarified, “I’m not quite sure what you were hoping for.” She continued, “Could you please explain the shapes to me, dear… How can I assist?”

To which the fan sent her the problem and replied, “Oh bitch ur cooked,”

8:07 p.m. was when I first received a reply from my idol, SZA – as seen on the screenshot. But the magic didn’t stop there; our conversation continued until 5:32 a.m. This woman who boldly expresses herself through her vibrant personality, eye-catching fashion choices, and soulful music has shared her battles from her school days in the past.

In 2023, the singer shared with PEOPLE that she faced bullying because she wasn’t shy and was somewhat awkward. She admitted that she wrestled with accepting herself and fitting in due to not conforming to the stereotype of a victim but rather receiving judgmental looks like she didn’t belong. Nevertheless, she eventually mastered self-acceptance, nurtured self-love, and developed confidence in herself.

In that 2023 interview, SZA shared an interesting fact: she missed her senior prom in high school because she didn’t have a date or anyone to attend with. Making friends was tough for her back then.

Contrastingly, these days, with her status among the music industry’s elite, SZA is escorted by a security guard during her travels to social events for reasons of safety.

Reflecting on my own path, I can’t help but agree that life is an unpredictable voyage, constantly reshaping us into who we are. SZA expresses a similar sentiment, stating that if she had received all the validation she yearned for in school, she might not have evolved into the unique person she is today and could have led a more tranquil existence.

Initially, she garnered acclaim through her self-produced EPs titled See.SZA.Run in 2012 and S in 2013. These releases eventually enabled her to become the first female artist signed to Top Dawg Entertainment. Since then, there’s been no stopping her progress!
