As a devoted Katy Perry fan, I am absolutely thrilled to witness the beautiful journey of motherhood that she is navigating with grace and humor. The recent glimpse into her hospital room after the birth of Daisy Dove Bloom was a heartwarming moment for all of us fans, as it underscored the profound transformation and joy that comes with becoming a parent.
Katy Perry is cherishing each moment of her role as a mother. Lately, she has revealed that her daughter, Daisy Dove, even pitched in to assist her mother in signing vinyl records while preparing for the launch of her new studio album, titled “143.”
Currently, Perry is reminiscing about a pivotal moment in her life – the birth of her and fiancé Orlando Bloom’s first child, Daisy Dove Bloom. The 39-year-old singer posted a video (now expired) on her Instagram Stories, showing her in a hospital bed after delivering their daughter on August 29th.
In the video, Perry is asked, “What day is today?”, looking a bit tired but joyful. She replies, “Yesterday was when I welcomed Daisy Dove Bloom into the world, and today is the day my parents first met.”
Daisy was born on the 26th of August, 2020, which happened to be two days prior to when Katy launched her fresh album. Before making her music video public, Perry marked the fourth anniversary of her album titled ‘Smile’.
She wote in a post, “Happy 4th birthday to my fifth album, Smile. Where were you when this album came out? I’ll show you where I was…,” along with the emoticon of laughter and tears. The singer then posted an older video of herself giving birth to Daisy the day before in the delivery room.
In August 2020, the album “Smile” was unveiled, coming after the debut of its lead single “Daisies” in early 2020. During this time, she proudly showed off her expanding belly bump with a radiant smile. Regrettably, the album didn’t achieve commercial success and received moderately positive reviews.
Starting this September, Katy plans to unveil her sixth studio album titled 143. Over the past few weeks, she’s been generating buzz with her latest singles “Woman’s World” and “Lifetimes.” In interviews, Katy shared that “Lifetimes” is a special tribute and inspiration drawn from her daughter Daisy, expressing her heartfelt hope that Daisy encounters her in every life she lives.
