Pusha T excites fans by saying a new Clipse album is almost finished

As a devoted fan of hip-hop, particularly the dynamic duo known as the Clipse, I can barely contain my excitement for their upcoming album! It’s been over a decade since we’ve had new music from these Virginia natives, and the anticipation has been building like an impending storm.

When rapper No Malice declared that he would no longer collaborate with his brother Pusha T, it appeared as if their group, Clipse, had ridden off into the horizon, seemingly disbanded. This assumption was strengthened due to Pusha’s success in establishing himself as a solo artist through the release of highly-regarded albums.

Previously, he had ignited enthusiasm among fans with a tweet about an upcoming Clipse album. In a more recent interview, he reaffirmed this news. On the Ghetto Runways podcast, Pusha T expressed his excitement, “I am really looking forward to this new Clipse album. This is what I’m focusing on at the moment. The album is completely done; we just need a guest feature.”

The identity of the guest artist remained undisclosed, yet it didn’t hinder fans from enthusiastically discussing the upcoming album across various online platforms. One individual even expressed, “Christmas has come early!” In a similar vein, another fan posted, “There are only about three albums I’m eagerly anticipating, and this is one of them. I hope this will be a My Brother’s Keeper concept project.”

As a die-hard gamer, I’ve got to say that the last studio album from The Clipse was back in 2009, titled “Til the Casket Drops“. Some might argue it was their most commercially-oriented project yet, largely due to the catchy single “I’m Good,” produced by none other than Pharrell Williams. Fast forward a few years, Pusha T dropped some top-notch albums and even got into a heated feud with Drake, culminating in his blistering diss track, “The Story of Adidon.”

Since his album “Til the Casket Drops” in 2013, No Malice has put out a couple more solo records. These include “Hear Ye Him” in 2013 and “Let the Dead Bury the Dead” in 2017.

It’s clear that No Malice switched to creating Christian-themed music following his departure from the group, as evident by the titles of his albums. Specifically, on the album “Til the Casket Drops“, he delivered many gospel-inspired verses.

In addition, he discussed his choice to cease producing Clipse music during a 2022 interview with VladTV and shared insights about his Christian faith. As No Malice put it, “I was truly reborn.” “I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ,” he said emphatically. “There’s no other way I can express it.”

In a conversation, No Malice (formerly known as Malice) discussed the time when he informed his brother of his decision to depart from the group.

In the elevator, I informed him that I had reached my limit and was no longer interested in this endeavor. I made it clear that I was stepping away, and he acknowledged and respected my decision, as stated by No Malice.

Looking forward to hearing the type of lyrics Pusha T will share in collaboration with The Clipse on their upcoming album, given that they are known for rapping tales from their history in drug trafficking. Regardless, Pusha T is clearly eager to release the album.

He excitedly shared with the Ghetto Runways’ hosts that he had recently produced a remarkable piece of work alongside his brother, something truly extraordinary. He’s bursting with anticipation to showcase it.
