Nicotine is a funny business. People need it, or think they do. The stock was up a lot before this, 50% in a year. A good run. Now, a little stumble.

They’re saying they’ll make $180 to $190 million from these pouches in 2026. Sounds ambitious. But to get there, they’re spending money. Marketing. Distribution. It disrupts things. Profits, specifically. They’re expecting $24 to $27 million in the first quarter. Down from $119 million last year. A significant drop. But growth costs money. Everything does. So it goes.

A Dip, and What It Means

The stock is now worth $1.75 billion. A large number, when you think about it. All those little pouches adding up. The price-to-earnings ratio is 29. Not exactly cheap. But they’re still investing. The price-to-sales ratio is 3.7. That’s…reasonable, for a fast-growing nicotine delivery system. It’s a strange world.
